Kiiroo is a company that is truly at the cutting edge of sex toy technology. While so many of us worry that technology is driving us further apart, Kiiroo strives to use their tech to bring people closer together.
For example, their FeelConnect app allows long-distance couples (of any gender breakdown) to control each other’s sex toys in order to bridge the physical gap between them.
And it’s not just long-distance couples who can enjoy these innovations. Their Luxus toy is proximity-based, with a clitoral vibrator that pairs with and responds to a magnetic penis ring. Their PowerShot toy (image below) can be used for stamina training, which can improve performance in the bedroom.

While they offer plenty of innovative toys for solo play, they’ve never lost sight of their goal of keeping people connected.
Their Story
Kiiroo was founded in Amsterdam in 2013, and right from the beginning, their mission was to bring people “connection powered by technology”. Soon, they started getting industry attention by winning major awards such as the Adult Webcam Award for Best Adult Webcam Toy / Sex Toy Company in 2017 (for their Pearl vibrator, if you’re curious).

In 2022, they started their most ambitious innovations yet: their AI-driven apps. With their FeelConnect app, long-distance couples can experience an intense level of closeness in real-time, and with their FeelMe AI, someone playing solo can connect to virtually any adult video content on the web and have their toy mimic the sensations they see onscreen.
Syncing is smooth and reliable, meaning that the toys can help bridge the gap between you and your loved one, no matter how far apart you are.
Keon 2 Launch
In 2020, Kiiroo launched one of their flagship toys, the Keon. In keeping with the goals of the company, the Keon is a marvel. It is a male masturbator that uses AI to connect to videos, VR, and partner toys.

So, what could be better than the Keon? The Keon 2, of course! This upgraded version of the popular stroker has all kinds of amazing new features without taking anything away from what made the original such a hit.
Let’s start by looking at some numbers (sexy, I know).
- First of all, the Keon 2 is 164% faster than the Keon 1 at peak speed. At 300 strokes per minute, that is fast! It also has a finisher mode, which allows you to go full throttle at the push of a button.
- Not only is it faster, but it has a wider speed range, meaning it can also go slower than the original Keon. So, if long, drawn-out sessions are more your thing, the upgrade is a great option.
- But it’s not just the speed that makes this toy so impressive. It has a 90mm maximum stroke length, meaning you can really feel every stroke while you use it.
- It also has a quieter motor, so you can keep your sessions on the down-low.
- Plus, it has a new thermal safety feature, ensuring the temperature never goes above 80°C.
The Keon 2 uses both Bluetooth and WiFi, and has a fast charger, meaning you’ll always be able to play. You can even save personalized patterns in the app!

It also comes with a free month of FeelMe AI, so you can get the most out of Keon 2’s capabilities. It works with any stroker and is compatible with all of Kiiroo’s technologies, so there won’t be any sacrifices if you choose to upgrade your original model.
The Keon 2 also works manually, and again, it works even better than the original. The ergonomics (something I always care about in a toy) have been redesigned, with all 6 buttons facing the front to make it easier to use.

Whether you want an extra-special solo play session where you can enjoy your favorite content in a whole new way, stamina training, or a way to connect with a loved one, The Keon 2 promises to be an exceptional addition to Kiiroo’s lineup.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Antonio, a creative director who has been working on the Keon 2 since the very beginning. Needless to say, I had a lot of questions about the creative process!

Q1. How do you make Keon 2 stand out in your designs, compared to the original Keon?
The Keon 2 refines the original’s silhouette with a more premium finish while making meaningful performance jumps: 300 strokes per minute, a 36% wider stroke range, and a dual-power system so sessions are never cut short. The Universal Stroker Adapter also marks a philosophy shift — from a closed ecosystem to a device that works with any stroker on the market.
Q2. What are the most meaningful upgrades in the Keon 2 — and why do they matter to the user experience?
Speed (300 strokes/min), deeper stroke range (+36%), 90+ min battery with fast charge, unlimited runtime when plugged in, WiFi + Bluetooth dual connectivity, universal stroker compatibility, and Finisher Mode for high-speed climax. Each one directly addresses a frustration users had with the original.
Q3. Will any of your other toys be getting a similar upgrade in the near future?
The Keon 2 framework — faster performance, smarter connectivity, broader accessory compatibility — sets a clear template. It would be surprising if other flagship products in the Feel range didn’t follow a similar upgrade path.
Q4. The Keon line is known for its smart connectivity — how does the Keon 2 evolve the interactive and real-time sync experience compared to the original?
Keon 2 syncs in real time with the FeelMe platform, responding to supported video, VR, and interactive content as it plays. Dual WiFi + Bluetooth connectivity makes pairing more stable, and through the FeelConnect app, it can sync with compatible partner toys for long-distance play.
Q5. Aside from smarter connectivity and content sync, what other big changes do you see on the horizon for the design of interactive sex toys?
Broader device compatibility, longer battery life, tighter VR integration, and more discreet form factors. The direction the Keon 2 points toward is hardware as a platform — open, upgradeable, and content-connected — rather than a standalone device.
Q6. What existing frustrations with sex toys do you think smarter technology — better connectivity, content sync, and app integration — will solve?
The Keon 2 already answers several: short battery life (dual power + 90-min runtime), limited compatibility (Universal Stroker Adapter), unstable connections (WiFi + Bluetooth), and the gap between hardware and digital content (FeelMe real-time sync). Long-distance intimacy and complex setups are where connected technology still has the most room to grow.
Q7. Kiiroo has pioneered interactive, app-connected sex technology. What first inspired the team to go beyond a simple vibrator and build something truly connected?
Kiiroo was built around the idea that physical distance shouldn’t limit intimacy. That founding purpose drove the connected toy ecosystem, the FeelMe platform, and now the Keon 2, which is the most complete expression of that vision: real-time content sync, remote partner play, and app control in one device.
Q8. The Keon 2’s design is striking — sleek, dark, and almost cinematic. What were the visual and functional inspirations behind it?
The design language bridges consumer electronics and personal devices: matte black casing, minimal branding, LED accent lighting, and industrial grip structure. It’s intentionally premium — a deliberate effort to elevate the category and make the device feel at home alongside high-end tech, not hidden away.
Q9. Building a device like the Keon 2 involves engineering, design, app development, and content partnerships — how does that cross-functional collaboration actually work?
The Keon 2 spans mechanical engineering (the stroker mechanism and dual-power system), industrial design, software (FeelConnect app, connectivity stack), and content partnerships (FeelMe integrations). Getting all of that to ship as a coherent product — with 300 strokes/min, stable dual connectivity, and 90-min battery life — is a significant coordination feat.
Q10. What are the unique challenges when it comes to designing sex toys as opposed to other products?
Materials safety (ABS, PC, TPE — all body-safe), hygiene and cleanability, discreet packaging, battery constraints in a mechanically demanding handheld device, and connectivity hardware crammed into a tight form factor. Beyond the physical, the marketing challenge is real: the adult category operates under platform restrictions most consumer electronics brands never face.
