Why You Should Trust Us
Not only has Angela Kempf been a sex toy hobbyist since she was allowed in adult stores, but she has also professionally reviewed hundreds of sex toys. She and her penis-having partner test partner toys together and love to share them when the opportunity arises. She cares most about inclusivity, education, and pleasure.
As a sexual health and pleasure writer for the past ten years, she has a solid background in the pleasure industry, but she also has personal experiences that have given her a better understanding of how pleasure changes as someone who has faced chronic illness. Her understanding of sexual pleasure as a right for all has given her a laser focus on how toys can be more comfortable, accessible, and safe.

1. Lovehoney Indulge Valentine’s Day Kit: Overall Test Winner!

Why we love the Lovehoney Indulge Valentine’s Day Kit:
The Lovehoney Indulge Valentine’s Day Kit is a shocking bargain, but don’t let that b-word scare you; everything looks and feels surprisingly high-end. Inside the $100 kit are enough sex aids that you can try new things all year long. Plus, this kit has a few kinky items for couples who are interested in trying BDSM. The blindfold is perfect, but the restraint should be used cautiously since it’s easy to restrain someone too tightly.
Here’s what you can expect from the Lovehoney Indulge Valentine’s Day Kit:
- The Kit begins with a rose gold bullet vibrator, my personal favorite. It’s small, it’s powerful, and it works with the cock ring, stroker, and the Indulge G-spot and Clitoral Stimulator. It has a travel lock, is compatible with water-based lubricant, and is waterproof.
- Next up is the couples cock ring, a small, purple cock ring with rabbit ears that reach out and stimulate your partner’s clit. Slip the bullet vibe in for extra stimulation, and keep in mind that this is a firm cock ring without much stretch to it.
- The crystal butt plug is also included, a rose gold beaut with a purple gem at the base. It’s pretty, it’s petite, and it’s shaped for beginners. Best part? It works for people of any gender.
- A satin restraint with purple and black tiger stripes is next. Satin restraints are more comfortable than handcuffs and less fussy when attaching them to the bed. You can tighten them as much as you want—just be sure to keep scissors on hand in case you get too excited and tie your loved one up a little too tight.
- A ribbed stroker is included, made from squishy TPE. This penis-loving addition will take your partner’s stroke game up several notches. Put the bullet vibe in the little pocket, add some water-based lube, and enjoy the textured inside.
- Next is the rose gold blindfold, both cushy and sexy. The design is pretty, plus it’s comfortable. It is slightly thin, so you’ll need to place it carefully to ensure your partner remains sightless for as long as you desire.
- The main attraction is the Indulge G-spot Clitoral Suction Toy. It is the piece de resistance. This purple pleaser has a ribbed G-spot arm that vibrates and an external arm with a nozzle for suction. The M button controls the shaft, while the O button controls the suction. It’s waterproof, provides dual-stimulation, and feels luxurious. Plus, it has seven suction speeds and ten modes to play with.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Keep in mind that though this is listed as the Lovehoney Indulge Valentine’s Day Kit, the only thing it says on the box is “Lovehoney All Night Long Couple’s Sex Toy Kit.” The marketing language is a bit uneven, and it can be confusing when you compare what you bought with what you received.
If you bought the Lovehoney Sex Toy Advent Calendar for your partner for Christmas, this isn’t the best buy because there are quite a few repeats, including the rose gold bullet vibrator, ribbed stroker, BDSM blindfold, rose gold butt plug, and couples cock ring.
If you want to see what the Lovehoney Indulge Valentine’s Day Kit looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:

- Length: Butt plug is 2.5”; 3.5” circumference
Pros:
- Items for people of all genders.
- A great value: 7 quality devices for $99.
- Sexy matching aesthetic.
- Has kink-inclusive toys.
Cons:
- Many repeats from the Lovehoney Advent Calendar; not worth buying both.
2. The Lovense Lover Set: Upgrade Pick!

Why we love the Lovense Lover Set:
Many of the Valentine’s Day sex toy gift sets offered similar experiences with some pretty basic products. So we were pleasantly surprised when we tested the Lovense Lover Set because it contained six high-quality items for the price of just two. For only $249, you get the powerful Gush 2 penis vibrator and Lush 4 egg vibrator, along with cuffs, a blindfold, a feather tickler, and a Kraken stroker. Just that alone makes it a stunning good value because the retail price for all of them adds up to $629. Just wow!
The packaging felt premium and organized like individual gifts. Everything is organized in a separate neon pink box, so you could open a “gift” every day for six days if you wanted. Or you could do what I did: rip them open at top speed. We also liked the design and color combination of the blindfold, cuffs, and tickler. There was no polarizing pink except on the packaging; it’s just black, gold, and silver, wearable for people of any gender.

The Lovense Lover Set performed impressively in our hands-on tests. Our vagina testers reported that Lush 4 gave them strong yet controllable G-spot vibrations while Gush 2 gave our penis testers reliable hands-free stimulation perfect for building tension. But what impressed us the most was how seamlessly the Lovense Remote App enabled synchronized play, music sync, and remote control features that actually worked reliably. On top of that, the team thought the bondage items give beginners everything they need to get started.
At the end of the day, we picked the Lovense Lover Set as our upgrade pick because our testing showed it genuinely enhances intimacy for couples in ways basic kits cannot match. For example, it excels for long-distance relationships or for people who want to try discreet public play. This set is perfect for couples who are willing to spend a little extra for high-tech features and want products that will last for many years.

Minor Issues We Found During Testing
While I was disappointed that there isn’t an option for lesbian or gay couples to opt for within this curated set, I was delighted by the included sex toys for the straights. The choice to include two penis devices that can’t be used concurrently was puzzling. I think a better inclusion may have been an anal device that could work for someone of any gender.
You can read our full Lovense Lover Set review here.
Features:
- Material: Silicone, ABS plastic, TPE
- Mechanism: Manual penis stroker, feather tickling, internal G-spot vibration, and penis oscillation
Pros:
- Excellent value for price
- Decent stimulation variety
- Perfect for long-distance couples and public play
- Durable
- Hands-free pleasure for two
- Straightforward app with fun gamification and versatility
Cons:
- Won’t work well for gay and lesbian cis couples
- Nothing for anal stimulation
- Can’t use all the toys together
3. Lovehoney Entice Couple’s Adventure Game: Best for Intimacy!

Why we love the Lovehoney Entice Couple’s Adventure Game:
I’ve played lots of sex games during my tenure as a professional toy tester and sex-haver. Some have been profoundly disappointing, as in the case of the dice game that suggested my partner and I should have sex in the missionary position for five minutes. Wild! As a board game enthusiast, I want a game that is as fun to play as it is creative. The Lovehoney Entice Couple’s Adventure Game goes well outside of the sex dice arena and adds meaningfully complex ideas.
Inside the box are four decks of cards (with 32 cards each), two silky restraints, and a feather tickler. To get started, you shuffle the decks, draw a card, obtain consent from your partner, and perform the action. There are many blank cards, too, so you and your partner can get creative and add niche stuff that the two of you would enjoy. The tickler is great for tantalizing, and the restraints can be used to tie your partner up or as a makeshift blindfold if you don’t have one.

The Enjoy deck starts the vibe off sexy because you’re not allowed to touch each other. This deck helps you initiate dirty talk, give your partner a sexy show, and reveal your fantasies. It’s the perfect place to start before moving on to Delight, a deck that keeps your clothes on while starting a sensual exploration. Think sexual adjacent touch, like light massages, kissing unexpected places, or blindfolding your partner and then feeding them. The Discover Deck is where the clothes start to come off and touching is encouraged. The last deck is Indulge, and it includes ideas for having sex in offbeat locations, watching adult content, and more. The deck variety allows you to customize the pace of your sexual encounter—a clutch feature I haven’t seen in other sex games.
Pro-tip: read all the cards beforehand and ditch the ones that you would never do. This extra step can prevent awkward draws where your partner is excited about something you’re going to put the kibosh on.

Lastly, from a board game perspective and from someone who is deeply competitive, no one wins this game. Or, if you play it right, you both win. But there aren’t technically winners or losers.
Want more options? We have more sex board games in this article.
Minor issues we found during testing:
This is an incredible game, but some of the ideas may not be that distinctive, especially if you are on the adventurous side as a couple. Further, this won’t work for couples who are firmly BDSM-oriented as each deck is relatively vanilla.
If you want to see what the Lovehoney Entice Couple’s Adventure Game looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Contains: 4 decks of cards, a tickler, and two restraints
Pros:
- Affordable at $30.
- Starts vital conversations about sex.
- Contains plenty of ideas to get your creative juices flowing.
- Encourages consent and exploration.
Cons:
- On the mild side, not for those who need BDSM elements throughout to get off.

Why we love the Fifty Shades of Grey Nipple Teasers:
The Fifty Shades of Grey Nothing but Sensation Nipple Suckers are the perfect gift for your BookTok friend, your erotica enthusiast, those who need nipple stimulation to get off, and anyone with an enduring crush on Christian Grey. The Nipple Teasers aren’t overly themed, but they come in a nice box that looks like it came straight from the red room of pain. It says “The Weekend Collection” on the box, so named for the phrase in the book, “a weekend of firsts.” It’s perfectly named because these are the ideal nipple stimulators for those new to the sensation.
The nipple suckers are made from silicone, a resilient and easy-to-clean material. To use them, you will put some water-based lube on the nipple, squeeze it to create a vacuum, and then release it once it is placed in the right spot. We tested them, and these will stay on without lube, but they stay on longer with lube thanks to the extra seal. When you’re finished, you can rip them off mid-orgasm for a blast of sensation or squeeze them to break the seal gently, and then they will fall off.

On the stimulation spectrum, these are lighter than nipple clamps but still offer a pleasant squeezing sensation. What was especially nice about this level of sensation is that it’s less intense, so you can wear them during longer play sessions. Anyone who is a beginner to nipple play or wants something that won’t hurt during hours-long tantra will be pleased.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The aesthetic of these nipple teasers leans a little to the bike horn side of things, so much so that I did wish they made a little honking sound. Could they be cuter? Yes. Will I be using them anyway? Also, yes. And I just might bedazzle them.
Further, they don’t come with a storage bag, but that’s to be expected for an under-$20 buy. If your partner loves the series but you don’t know how they’d feel about nipple teasers, Lovehoney has a vast collection of 50 Shades-themed toys for you to choose from instead.
You can read my review of the Fifty Shades of Grey Nothing but Sensation Nipple Suckers here.
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Length: 2” long
Pros:
- Affordable at $15.
- Versatile: work for solo, partnered, travel, and hands-free play.
- Great for people of any gender.
- Fifty Shades of Grey theming makes this choice extra giftable.
Cons:
- The design could be cuter.
5. Lovehoney Heartbeat Clitoral Suction Stimulator: For the Romantic!

Why we love the Lovehoney Heartbeat Clitoral Suction Stimulator:
Around Valentine’s Day, romance isn’t just in the air—it can also be between your legs. The Lovehoney Heartbeat Clitoral Suction Stimulator is just the cutest, perfectly themed for Valentine’s Day. A literal red heart with rechargeable suction, this clitoral stimulator shows that you followed your heart and picked out something as adorable as it is effective. It says you care about your partner and their pleasure. Pair this with a box of candy hearts, and your partner will be swooning!
Let’s talk affordability. I am not sure you can find a better Valentine’s Day gift for under $30 (usually $60) that will get your partner all the way off. Even if your partner is new to the wonderful world of clitoral suction, $30 is a small price to pay to find out if they love it.

Lovehoney knows sex toys, and this clitoral suction stimulator punches above its price tag. The Heartbeat Clitoral Suction Stimulator is waterproof and submergible, making it easy to clean. It has a two-button interface, so it couldn’t be easier to use. After charging it for two hours, it lasted over two and a half hours on the first setting. You simply press and hold the power button to turn it on or off, and then press the heart button to cycle through the ten speeds.
Once finished, wash it with warm water and antibacterial soap or sex toy cleaner. Then toss it in a storage bag to keep it safe from the other silicone models you own. Lastly, this little Romeo has a travel lock and can easily slip into your pocket for pleasure here, there, and everywhere.
Minor issues we found during testing:
I had to reach to find fault with this purchase. The only thing I noticed is that the clitoral nozzle is small—one of the smallest of the toys I own. If you have a larger clit, you may not be able to get the seal to fit right or it may be uncomfortable to use. You’ll also need to purchase a storage bag separately.
If you want to see what the Lovehoney Heartbeat looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Body-safe, waterproof silicone
- Length: 4.49” x 3.15” x 1.61”
Pros:
- Body-safe, waterproof materials.
- Affordable price.
- Gorgeous design and texture.
- Ten speeds to try.
- Rechargeable and ready for travel.
Cons:
- Only one nozzle size and that size is small.
6. Lovehoney Enjoy Water-Based Lubricant: The Necessity!

Why we love the Lovehoney Enjoy Water-Based Lubricant:
If you need something that can’t go wrong, get the Lovehoney Enjoy Water-Based Lubricant. Just like its name, this is one of those Valentine’s Day sex toy gifts that will be enjoyed by all who encounter it. Do you like orgasms? They will be better, with or without a partner, with or without a toy, wherever you are, with lubricant. Lubricant makes sex feel the way it looks in porn: gliding, easy, pleasurable. And everyone needs it; even if you already have lube, you’re going to need more soon. Poets don’t write sonnets about lube, though they should.
Using lubricant can prevent sex injuries, increase pleasure, extend playtime, and more. It’s basically MSG but for sex. Giving lube for a Valentine’s Day present doesn’t make you look cheap—it makes you look like a sex genius. What says, “I want to have lots and lots of hot sex with you,” better than an 8.5-ounce bottle of lube? Try to think of something. I’ll wait.
Choosing a good lube is tricky, and it has everything to do with your body and your sexual activities. Water-based lube is an excellent choice because it’s compatible with so many things. Lovehoney Enjoy Water-Based Lubricant is compatible with latex and polyurethane condoms, will work great on your pleasure products (even the silicone ones), and stays slippery longer than a lot of other water-based lubricants, which are sometimes known for their tendency to get tacky. Plus, it works well for sensitive skin.
If your play session starts to feel dry after you’ve slathered on the Enjoy Water-Based Lubricant, grab a spray bottle and spritz your parts with water to reactivate the slipperiness. Economical! Further, the bottle has a pump so that you can access the lube easily, even if your hands are already slippery.
Minor issues we found during testing:
No water-based lubricant will last as long as a silicone lubricant. If you aren’t using toys or condoms and require a slick experience that will outlast the rest, silicone lubricant can’t be topped.
Features:
- Material: Water-based formula
- Weight: 8.5 fl oz
Pros:
- Affordable
- Long-lasting
- Improves every kind of sex.
Cons:
- It doesn’t last as long as silicone lubricant.
7. Seduce Me Lover’s Bed Bondage Kit: Great for Bondage Newbies!

Why we love the Bondage Boutique Seduce Me Lover’s Bed Bondage Kit:
The Bondage Boutique Seduce Me Lover’s Bed Bondage Kit is perfect for you and your partner if you’ve tossed the idea of getting into kink around but never taken the plunge. For only $80, you receive a gorgeous matching set of everything you need to turn up the heat in the bedroom. Without exaggeration, this is one of the prettiest bondage kits our team has ever laid eyes on.
Here’s what you’ll find inside the kit:
- An under-the-mattress restraint kit. These are so helpful and discreet that it’s worth it to have a set for every bed in your house if you have more than one bed. The straps go under the mattress and have clasps that attach to the ankle and wrist restraints, and the metal even matches. You can restrain your partner and then sneak the straps snugly under the mattress where no one will ever know.
- Ankle and wrist cuffs. The ankle and wrist cuffs aren’t run of the mill—they’re super plush. They match the rose gold aesthetic of the under-the-mattress restraint kit, and they’re lined with the most touchable soft faux fur. With restraints this soft, getting tied up is more of a reward than a punishment. Plus, it’s easy to unhook these in a hurry, thanks to the lobster clasp. The Velcro also makes it a cinch to adjust the size of the restraints to match your partner perfectly. These restraints hit the ideal intersection of secure but lightweight.
- A rose gold blindfold. This blindfold is plush and matches the rest of the bondage kit. It clasps as a buckle in the back, which doesn’t allow quite as exact size adjustments, plus it can get caught in your hair. It may not completely black out the view of someone with a smaller nose. But it looks gorgeous, is comfortable to wear, and is easy to put on.
- A rose gold ball gag (image below). This ball gag is gorgeous and soft to bite into but sturdy enough that the bite marks won’t stick around forever. The faux fur makes it very comfy to wear for extended periods. It fastens and unfastens easily with a buckle clasp at the back of your head.
- A flogger. This pretty little whippersnapper is lightweight and ideal for beginners to the kink scene. Your partner will have to level up their flogging skills to give you more than a glancing blow with this, but it’s an ideal warm-up for a more intense spanking scene—or whatever kind of impact play you prefer.

Minor issues we found during testing:
This bondage kit is perfect—no notes—for beginners, but people who are intermediately involved in bondage probably already have some of these items on hand. The flogger is notably lightweight, too, and will only provide stingy sensations.
If you want to see what the Bondage Boutique Seduce Me Lover’s Bed Bondage Kit looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:

Pros:
- Gorgeous colors and materials.
- Easy to set up, clasp, and unclasp.
- Discreet
- Excellent value.
