The unboxing experience made me so excited to try the Aria! It has a very cute almost retro ’60s look without seeming gimmicky, or including that awful orange color that somehow signals ‘60s nostalgia.

How Do I Use The Aria Flutter Tongue Vibrator?

The Aria Flutter Tongue is very easy to use. Before your first use, charge it for 2.5 hours via the magnetic USB cable. Once it’s fully charged, the blinking light indicator will stay lit and you’ll be ready to go. A full charge should last about 40 minutes, which is pretty subpar and one of my few issues with this toy.

When you’re ready to use the Flutter Tongue, simply put a bit of water-based lube on the perimeter of the opening and place the opening around your clitoris or your nipple, whichever you’re in the mood to treat. Then, press the power button for 3 seconds to turn the tongue on, and press that same button to cycle through the 7 vibration speeds and patterns. When you’re ready to wind down your play session, simply hold the button down for another 3 seconds to turn the toy off.

My Personal Experience

Packaging

Overall, I really loved the packaging. The box is cute and brightly covered, and I liked the separate mini box for the charging cord (you can see the box in the image above). It also came with a bag, which automatically elevates it in my opinion. The one thing I didn’t love was that the instructions were only accessible via a QR code on the box, and even there, you have to scroll through instructions for other products as well. Instead of boasting about its “Groovy Features” on the outside and inside of the box, it would have been nice to have a little instruction manual on the box itself, especially since the Aria is so simple.

Design

This is a gorgeous, thoughtfully designed tongue vibrator. The pink and purple color scheme is lovely and the cap that fits over the opening makes it look like a little Easter egg. The cap itself is a great feature, making the device look much more discreet (and giving this germaphobe extra peace of mind). The single button on the bottom makes it easy to cycle through the different vibration patterns and find the one that stimulates you the most. The “new & improved” design features a larger opening, and while I can’t speak for everyone, I didn’t have a problem positioning it where it needed to go. Every body is different, though, and if you don’t think the opening will be able to keep you covered, so to speak, then a toy with an external tongue might be a better option.

This little toy is made of soft, smooth silicone. The egg feels great in the hand, and the tongue itself is firm yet flexible, making it ideal (in my opinion) for a product like this.

The Aria Flutter Tongue has 7 different vibration patterns. One downside for me is that the vibrations started off pretty intense, so it was difficult to pick up on the subtle differences between the different patterns and speeds.

Sound Level

SheVibe rates the Aria at a 3/4 in terms of sound level, but personally I didn’t think it was that loud.

Build Quality and Dimensions

At 2.5” by 1.5”, this egg is tiny but mighty! It feels great in the hand, and I always love the feel of soft silicone toys. The only quality issue I encountered was that the top of the egg slid off pretty easily. However, since the product comes with a drawstring bag, that will keep everything contained, and make it less likely for the top to come off. I was impressed by this toy on its own, but when I saw that it sold for only $44, I was blown away.

Ease of Use

With just one button and a magnetic charger, this one is as simple as it gets. Just press the button to cycle through the intensities and patterns.

Versatility

The Aria Flutter Tongue can be used on the clitoris or the nipples, depending on where you want to feel stimulated. My nipples are a little too sensitive to enjoy that sensation, but I’d imagine for a lot of people it would be wildly pleasurable. It is not waterproof, which is a shame. It can be used for partner play, but considering how small it is, I’d recommend using it yourself.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing
