How Do I Use the Princette Puppypus

Charge your Princette Puppypus by simply plugging it into the USB charger. It takes about 70 minutes to get a full charge, which provides 110 minutes of playtime. To turn on the device, hold the power button on the bottom for about two seconds, then press the button to cycle through the 5 vibration speeds and 5 vibration patterns.

My Personal Experience

Packaging

I really like the Cute Little Fuckers packaging. The front shows a life-size picture of Princette Puppypus, and the back and sides give added information about the company, the designer, and how to use the toy, plus a little bio on Princette Puppypus, who apparently likes pizza. It comes wrapped in purple tissue paper, which makes it feel like unwrapping a fun surprise.

Design

I like to think I have an open mind when it comes to cute or gimmicky toys. I enjoyed the starfish design on the Starsi, and I had nothing but praise for the looks of the adorable Unihorn Blaze Diablo. But I’m afraid my tolerance does not extend to the Princette Puppypus. Why? Well, because it has a dog face. Not just any dog; to me, it looks like Jake from Adventure Time. I understand the appeal of Cute Little Fuckers giving each of their products a little personality and an anthropomorphic design, but…not Jake from Adventure Time!

Aside from the face (and granted, the ridges of the face feel very nice), this product is very well designed. It feels great in the hand, and while the soft silicone doesn’t have the squishy feeling I prefer, it does feel delightfully smooth. For what it’s worth, while writing this review, I find myself just holding the sex toy in my hand and pressing the button, simply enjoying how it feels as it vibrates while giving me a little hand massage. I’ve never done that with a toy before, so definite kudos for that.

However, unlike the Starsi, which felt totally unique, this one looks like a butt plug with some added extras. That’s obviously fine, but I’m not sure it quite justifies the $59 price tag. The website claims it makes for a great first toy, but I would have to disagree. The hard silicone won’t be comfortable for every butt, and the blunt girth of the octopus (sorry, Puppypus) head would be equally uncomfortable for someone who’s never used a toy for internal vaginal pleasure before.

The body is made of soft, smooth silicone. It’s important to note that the head doesn’t have a lot of squish to it, so keep that in mind if you plan on using it internally. I personally prefer my toys a little squishier, so I didn’t love the way this felt internally. But of course every body is different, so the firmness of the Princette Puppypus might be ideal for you.

The Princette Puppypus cycles through 10 different vibrations—5 speeds and 5 patterns. In general, I’m not a fan of internal toys that require you to cycle through settings, and that’s another reason I wouldn’t recommend it to a beginner. The octopus tentacles do add a pleasant external stimulation when using it internally, so that’s an element I definitely appreciated.

The controls (well, one control)  on The Princette Puppypus make it very easy to use. It’s also designed for people with hand mobility issues, and it is very easy to hold and maneuver around. However, the button might be a little small for everyone, so keep that in mind.

Versatility

The Princette Puppypus is essentially a butt plug with some extras. While the vibrating tentacles can be used to provide some stimulation to your or your partner’s body, it doesn’t cover as wide an area as the Starsi, and the bullet-like shape of the octopus limits the amount you can play around with the tentacles (for example, you can’t squeeze it between your legs). The head is a little too blunt to be used comfortably as a vaginal vibrator, especially not for a beginner, and while the tip of the head can stimulate the clitoris, any egg vibrator can do the same thing. It does a lot of different things, but doesn’t do any of them especially well, aside from being a butt plug.
