The Obsessions Scarlett rabbit toy by NS Novelties offers a lot of great features, such as a warming function, multiple vibration modes, and of course the dual sensations rabbit toys are famous for—all for a great price. Is it enough to make this toy my newest obsession, or would you rather this Scarlett be gone with the wind? Read my review of the Obsessions Scarlett to find out.
Key Takeaways

With its good design, 10 vibration modes, and squishy silicone body, The Obsessions Scarlett has a lot going for it. However, the warming function barely felt like anything, so if that’s the feature you’re most interested in, this won’t be the toy for you. I would have happily sacrificed that feature for some more vibration patterns, the ability to control the intensity levels, or the ability to control the internal and external functions separately.
Who Should Try It? If you love internal and external pleasure, this is a great toy to get. While the external rabbit doesn’t have a separate motor, the strength of the vibrations in the shaft is more than enough to get you going.
Who Can Skip It? If it’s the warming function that intrigues you, you can give it a miss. The warming function takes a bit of time to kick in, and even when it does, it really doesn’t feel like much. It’s also only the internal shaft that warms up, not the external rabbit ears.
You Can Buy It on the SheVibe website for $47.
What Is The Obsessions Scarlett?
The Obsessions Scarlett is a rabbit vibrator from NSNovelties. Rechargeable and water-resistant, it also has a warming function and has 10 vibration modes. As with all rabbit vibrators, it has a shaft you insert, providing some internal/g-spot vibrations, and a little attachment with a pair of “ears” to vibrate and stimulate your clitoris. It’s a brilliant concept!

How Do I Use The Obsessions Scarlett?
First, simply attach the magnetic charger to the base of the Obsessions Scarlett. A full charge takes about 90 minutes for 50 minutes of playtime. I’ve found that warming toys often need a lot of charging time and don’t last particularly long, which is disappointing.

To turn on the toy, simply press the power button for two seconds. It will glow blue when it’s on. Then press the fire button to start the warming function (it will also glow when turned on). According to the box, you can use it with silicone-based lube, a rarity for silicone toys. So, use it with any lube you choose, and slide it in. Position the rabbit ears so that they’re caressing right where you want them to, and start exploring the different vibration modes by pressing the power button to cycle through them.
To bring your playtime to an end, long press the power button again.

My Personal Experience
Packaging
The packaging on this toy is simple in a way I like. The box gives basic information about the toy and the company, with the instruction manual giving more details.

Design
I thought this toy was really nicely designed. I did find it funny that the shape of the shaft looks pretty realistic, while being dark purple (not “navy” as the website says) and having a rabbit ear attachment. No one is buying a rabbit toy to recreate the feeling of having penetrative sex with an AMAB partner (unless you know someone I’d be very intrigued to meet), so having it look like an actual penis was an odd choice.
Unlike with some similar butterfly toys I’ve tried that require your anatomy to line up exactly with their antennae, I found it very easy to get this toy to stimulate all the appropriate places—a major win in terms of design.

Material
This product is made from a very squishy silicone, which I really liked. While it doesn’t allow for much precision, I personally prefer the feel of a good amount of squish to a more solid model. One downside is that it was so squishy and light that the rabbit head wasn’t quite heavy enough to stay in place. Bending it down to keep it in the right spot wasn’t a problem, but it wasn’t the most comfortable. Though it could just be that I need more external stimulation than most—I’m not barring that possibility.
Stimulations
The website says the toy has “3 speeds, 7 functions, and 10 modes”. That is…misleading, to say the least, and makes the stimulations sound more customizable than they are. In reality, there are 10 vibration modes in all, 3 of which are basic vibrations and 7 of which are patterns. As someone who loves having customization options, I was disappointed when I took a look at the toy and realized the speed, function, and modes weren’t three separate controls, as the site led me to believe.

The warming function didn’t do much for me. It felt fine in my hand, but inside me, it didn’t make much difference. It’s also only the shaft that warms up, not the external rabbit. I’m much more sensitive externally than internally, so the warming function would have been better appreciated if it had been there as well.
SheVibe rates this toy at a 3/4 in terms of strength intensity, and I would agree. It is quite strong, which I personally really liked. Initially, I was worried it wouldn’t be strong enough, since there wasn’t a separate motor for the external vibe, but the one motor was strong enough to make the rabbit ears buzz quite satisfactorily. In fact, the buzz might have been a little too strong, since it was difficult keeping the ears in place.

Sound Level
SheVibe ranks this toy a 2/4 in terms of volume. While it’s not super loud, it’s not exactly subtle either. Between the volume and the size, I would not recommend this as a travel toy.
Build Quality and Dimensions
With a total length of 7.87 in., an insertable length of 4.41in., and an insertable width of 1.38 in., this toy is a good size: not so small that it seems flimsy, but not so big that it’s unwieldy. The soft, flexible silicone feels great—I love toys that don’t just have silicone encasing the motor.

Ease of Use
With just one button to cycle through the vibration modes and a button to control the warming function, this rabbit vibrator is very simple to get the hang of. It’s also easy to push the buttons while using it, even though it doesn’t have a handle (something I always look out for). The rabbit ears are flexible enough that holding them down in the correct spot is easy to do, but it would have been even nicer if they’d been sturdy enough to stay in place.
Versatility
One thing I really appreciated about the Obsession is that it performed equally well when used externally as it did internally. Sometimes with rabbit or butterfly toys, it seems as though the external part was only tacked on without much real thought. But with this one, the external vibes were amazing on their own. It would have been nice to have the option of controlling the internal and external vibes separately, but for something that was under $50, I was impressed at how well it did both. Also, the sex toy can apparently be used with silicone-based lube. I only own water-based, so I wasn’t able to test that out, but that’s something I’ve never seen in a silicone toy before. And you will need lube for this one, since the widest point (the head) is 1.5 in.

Warranty and Support
NS Novelties offers a 1-year warranty.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The only issue I had was in trying to keep the external stimulator where it belonged. I like having constant external pressure, and the soft silicone kept getting away from me due to the powerful vibes.

Alternatives to the Obsessions Scarlett
The Butterfly Effect Wearable Vibrator
For a more customizable experience, give the Butterfly Effect Wearable Vibrator a try. It has controls for both the internal and external parts. It also uses a remote control, making it easy for you or your partner to mix things up.

The LELO Soraya Wave
The Soraya Wave lives up to its name, both because of its wave technology, meant to mimic a stroking finger, and because of the waves of pleasure it can provide. While on the more expensive side, this rabbit vibrator goes beyond basic vibrations and provides a different type of pleasure.
