What Is Bunny Kisses?

Bunny Kisses (I’ll just say it once, I really hate that name; it’s way too cloying and just plain bleah) is a rabbit vibrator from Evolved Novelties. I’ve only tried one of their products before, The Butterfly Effect. Because of its easy-to-use remote control and its customizable features, I’ve often recommended The Butterfly Effect in the “Alternatives” section of my reviews. Needless to say, I was intrigued to try another of their sex toys to see if it was as good!

While The Butterfly Effect was a wearable butterfly vibrator (similar to a rabbit vibrator, but the external part looks, well, like a butterfly), Bunny Kisses is a classic rabbit vibrator. The shaft is angled for g-spot stimulation, while the ears on the external rabbit are designed to stimulate the clitoris.

First Impressions and Features

Unboxing

I don’t like the name Bunny Kisses, and I don’t like the Evolved Novelties logo. The font is…weird, and the backwards letters plus the different letter sizes seem to be trying a little too hard to seem, I don’t know, edgy? At first glance, I always think the company name is “LOVE ved”. Honestly, styling it “eVoLvEd” would be more dignified.

Okay, rant over, and names aside, the unboxing experience was perfectly fine. The toy comes with a USB charging cable, an instruction guide, and a 5-year warranty card.

How Do I Use Bunny Kisses?

Charge up Bunny Kisses by plugging the charging cable into the charging port. It took a bit of effort the first time I tried, but it does fit in completely (it should look like the image below). Since the toy arrives 70% charged, the initial charge takes about 20 minutes, with a subsequent charge time of around 70 minutes. At the lowest intensity levels, playtime can last for about 60 minutes, and at the highest intensities, about 50 minutes.

To turn on Bunny Kisses, press the bottom button for about 3 seconds. Even though this button’s only function is the power button, it has an = symbol, instead of the usual power symbol. I really can’t explain it. To cycle through the vibration patterns of the shaft, press the top button (pointing up), and to cycle through the vibration patterns of the external ears, press the middle button (pointing down).

My Personal Experience

Packaging

The packaging of this toy is very simple and feels very secure. It has a picture of the toy on the front, and an extensive guide on the back.

Design

Rabbit vibrators are hard to get right, since the internal shaft has to hit the g-spot and the external ears have to hit the clitoris at the same time and on every type of AFAB body. Bunny Kisses manages this feat, however, and I especially liked the design of the ear attachment. If the ears just don’t feel quite right, the rabbit has a little nose that can provide a slightly different sensation.

Material

Bunny Kisses is made from silicone, with ABS plastic accents. Between the powerful motor and the relatively slim shape, it doesn’t have a ton of squish to it, but it is extremely flexible. The outer attachment is flexible as well, but not so flexible that it bounces off you when the motor is turned on (a problem I have encountered before, even on perfectly good toys).

Stimulations

Bunny Kisses has 10 different vibration modes comprised of three basic vibes that increase in intensity and 7 different patterns. Both the internal and external components use the same vibration modes, but since they can be controlled independently of each other, it’s possible to have, for example, the dildo vibrating at a low speed while the rabbit ears vibrate in a more intense pattern. With all the combinations to explore, there are a ton of ways to vibe (I want to say 120, but I failed the combinations/permutations unit in 6^th grade math, so don’t take my word for it). None of the vibrations felt super intense for me, and I was a little disappointed that the internal vibe was quite a bit more powerful than the external vibe.

Sound Level

According to the manual, this vibe reaches 50 dB, meaning it’s pretty quiet (think refrigerator hum or low conversation). It’s not silent enough to be realistically called discreet, but it won’t draw any undue attention.

Build Quality and Dimensions

Bunny Kisses has a total length of 7.89 inches, a width of 1.45 inches, an insertable length of 5 inches, and an insertable width of 1.25 inches. For me, these dimensions put it at a sweet spot of not being too big or too small. The toy also feels very high quality, which somehow just makes the LOVE ved logo even sillier.

Ease of Use

The button system took a bit of getting used to, especially since the power button didn’t have the typical power symbol on it. However, it was easy to get the hang of and cycling through the patterns wasn’t a problem. I was a little worried that the small buttons would be difficult to press while I was using it with lube on my hands, but I didn’t have any kind of problem. Physically, it was easy to slide in and I didn’t have a problem lining up the ears where they needed to go. But if the ears prove to be an issue for you, you can use the nose of the rabbit as a flat surface to grind up against, which is my preference for a rabbit vibrator anyway.

Versatility

While the rabbit attachment doesn’t vibrate as intensely as the dildo, having dual motors that can be controlled separately makes this toy feel great both internally and externally. It’s also waterproof.

Bunny Kisses comes with a 5-year warranty.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

Despite the materials being the same as most other toys I’ve tried, when I opened the box, I was hit with a strong plastic smell. Now, I have a terrible sense of smell, so for me to notice it, it was pretty bad. It went away after a while, but that might be something to look out for if you have a sensitive nose.

Alternatives to the Bunny Kisses

The Butterfly Effect

While it would be hard to pick which toy I prefer, the Evolved Novelties Butterfly Effect is always a great choice. It has a “wearable” design (I use quotes because yes, it’s not shaped like a traditional vibrator, but you wouldn’t exactly…wear it anywhere) that fits inside and against your body without needing a handle to hold on to, and it uses a remote control.

The Saro

The Saro by The Natural Love Company might be your best bet if the Bunny Kisses doesn’t seem intense enough for you. It has a much bigger girth (and no nicely tapered tip to slide it in), and more powerful vibrations. While there’s no way to control both the internal and external components, it’ll definitely leave you breathless. If this toy feels like bunny kisses, then Saro feels like kangaroo punches. But, you know, in a good way.
