The Nubii Chloe by Nu Sensuelle promises to be an ideal beginner vibrator with its sleek design, easy, intuitive functionality, and its versatility. Does it live up to these promises, or is this Nu Sensuelle not…for you? Read my review of the Nubii Chloe to find out.
Key Takeaways

After really enjoying their Petite Egg vibrator, I was looking forward to trying another Nu Sensuelle toy. However, this one did not live up to my expectations. While it does have a great, beginner friendly design, the functions were a little too basic, to the point where they very much detracted from my overall enjoyment of the product. The most obvious example: vibrations and heating functions are both activated when the toy is turned on, meaning there’s no way to warm it up before using it. However, I do appreciate the fact that it is genuinely versatile, and can be used just as satisfactorily internally as well as externally.
Who Should Try It? The petite, sleek shape of the Chloe, along with its versatility and low price point makes it a decent option if you’ve never tried a sex toy before and are looking to see what all the fuss is about. The fact that it is so easy to maneuver makes it a good choice for partner play as well.
Who Can Skip It? If you’re into size and powerful sensations, this is not the toy for you. While its turbo mode is intense, the Nubii Chloe is definitely more of a beginner’s toy.
You Can Buy It on the SheVibe website for $35.
What Is The Nubii Chloe?
The Nubii Chloe is designed to be a particularly beginner-friendly vibe. It’s so sleek and slim I barely felt it as I inserted it, and while the fact that it only has one button does have downsides, it is easy to use. It also has a warming function, and 10 different vibration speeds that range in intensity.

First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
This sex toy comes with a charger, an instruction booklet, and a bag. Normally, I don’t go in for “extras”, but I am a huge fan of bags being included with toys. I mean, really, I can’t just have them nakedly knocking around, and packaging can be so bulky. So, kudos to Chloe for the inclusion of a bag!

How Do I Use The Nubii Chloe?
The Nubii Chloe could not be simpler to use. Simply plug in the charger at the base and let it charge up. The yellow light near the base of the toy will flash until the toy is fully charged. The initial charge takes about 2 hours, and subsequent charges take about an hour. The Chloe lasts for 1-1.5 hours of play time. I’ve noticed that warming toys tend to take a long time to charge for comparatively short run time, so I’m happy the Chloe is an exception.

With some water-based lube, slide the Nubii Chloe inside yourself, and hold the power button for 2 seconds. Once it’s on, the yellow light at the base will turn on and the toy will automatically vibrate. The warming function will kick in, too, but it won’t reach its full warmth for about five minutes. To cycle through the 10 different vibration intensities, simply press the power button. If you want to spice things up a little bit, double-tap the button to start the turbo boost, which increases the speed for 12 seconds.
To turn off the Chloe, hold the power button for 2 seconds.

My Personal Experience
Packaging
I really liked the packaging on this toy. With its playful font and its pink and black color scheme, it struck a nice balance between looking overly cutesy and vaguely medical. I also loved the fact that it came with a bag.

Design
The design of this toy is where it really shines. Sleek, small, and supple, it’s the perfect shape for a beginner, or anyone who just doesn’t love the feel of a product with a lot of girth. I also liked the fact that it had a distinct handle to hold on to, which made it easier to hold, and would make it easy to use with a partner. I also liked the little ripple pattern on the head. Did it actually do anything? I don’t think so, but it definitely looked nice.
Material
The Chloe is made out of flexible, squishy silicone. I found the level of flexibility was great when used internally, but when I used it externally, it was a little hard to really press up against it.

Stimulations
SheVibe puts this toy at a 4/4 in terms of strength, but the Nu Sensuelle website ranks it only at a 1 out of 10, and says the feeling it provides is “buzzy” with a “subtle gyration”. Maybe it has something to do with how slim it is, but internally, the vibes didn’t feel all that strong. It definitely felt stronger than some I’ve tried, but it wasn’t anything extraordinary. Also, like most people, I prefer a more rumbly vibe over a buzzy vibe, and this one definitely was more buzzy.
Using the toy externally, though…the vibes made themselves known. Remember that episode of Sex and the City where Samantha tells a woman that a particular vibrator will “burn your clit off…even in ski pants”? Yeah, that quote came to mind using this vibe. That said, I did really enjoy using it externally at the lower intensities, and I was able to appreciate the warming function a lot more.

This vibrator only has 10 different vibration intensities, and no patterns. Now, I know some people really don’t like patterns, but I do, so that was a downside for me.
Sound Level
Chloe is pretty average in terms of noise level. SheVibe rates it at a 2/4, and that seems right. Especially since the higher intensities can get quite buzzy, it’s no surprise that it isn’t a super quiet toy.

Build Quality and Dimensions
With a total length of 7.28 in. and an insertable width of 1.14 in., this one is extremely beginner-friendly in terms of its size. I was also impressed by the quality, especially for the price. The silicone is soft, smooth, and flexible. If this toy were twice the price, I wouldn’t bat an eye.
Ease of Use
The Chloe is very simple to operate, with its one button that controls every feature. Unfortunately, I feel as though some features—features that would be useful to a beginner—were sacrificed in order for it to be so simple. The most glaring issue is the heating mechanism. The point of a warming toy is that it feels good as it penetrates, making for an overall more pleasant sensation, something that a beginner in particular probably wants. But with the Chloe, the heating mechanism only starts once the toy is already vibrating, meaning you have to slide it in before the 5-minute heating process starts. The only other option would be to turn it on and start the vibration before inserting it, which I wouldn’t recommend anyone do, let alone a beginner.

It really is a shame, because the shape of the toy is ideal for someone who’s never used an internal toy before and might be a little nervous. If only the rest of it had been designed so thoughtfully. I also really liked the fact that even though the toy is small, the handle is clearly delineated from the rest of it, making it easier to use than toys where the buttons are fully integrated. Sure, the VeDo Boom looks nice and sleek, but if something is buzzing around inside me, I like a separate handle I can get a firm grip on to make the button(s) easier to find.
Versatility
While this toy can be used externally, the sensation might be a little strong for a beginner. It is water-submersible, so feel free to take it in the bath with you. It’s also slim and unobtrusive enough that it could spice things up during couples’ play.
Warranty and Support
Nu Sensuelle offers a 2-year warranty.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
I didn’t have any issues with this one; it is quite simple to use.
Review Summary
Pros
- 1-1.5 hours of playtime on an hour charge is a much better ratio than other warming toys
- One of the thinnest toys I’ve ever tried, which makes it the ideal size and shape for a beginner
- Amazing price
Cons
- No way of heating it before inserting it
- Vibes are buzzy, not rumbly
- Vibes feel weak internally, very intense externally
- It only vibrates and doesn’t have patterns
Alternatives to The Nubii Chloe
The Dame Dip 2.0
If you like the idea of a beginner-friendly model that can provide external as well as internal vibes, there’s nothing like a Dame. While its overall width is a tiny bit bigger (1.3”, as opposed to 1.25”), the Dame Dip 2.0 is a solid beginner option.

The Zalo Courage
While its girth might be a bit much for a true beginner, the Zalo Courage is a warming vibrator that is a bit trickier to master than the Chloe, but ultimately a lot more rewarding. It’s also the prettiest toy you’ve ever seen.
