The Temptasia Rattle Snake by Blush is an absolutely wild sex toy! It’s a dual-ended vibrator in the shape of a snake with a glowing plasma ball in its mouth. Is this toy all looks and no bite, or does it actually deliver as well as look ridiculously cool? Read my review to find out.
Key Takeaways

Yes, the Temptasia Rattle Snake is absurd, but…it actually does work really well! Providing both internal and external vibes, it is definitely more than just a decorative object, and works a lot better than more boring-looking toys I’ve tried. While the design does get in the way of the functionality a little bit, it managed to slither its way into my heart.
Who Should Try It? If you want to do some fantasy role-play with a partner, or just want a really cool-looking vibrator to use yourself, this is a great one to get, since it delivers in terms of both looks and pleasure.
Who Can Skip It? It’s a sex toy in the shape of a snake with a glowing plasma ball in its mouth. If no part of that interests you, this is one to avoid.
You Can Buy It on the official Blush website for $116.99.
What Is The Temptasia Rattle Snake?
The Temptasia Rattle Snake is a dual-ended vibrator in the shape of a snake with a vibrating, glowing plasma ball for clitoral stimulation, and a tail for g-spot stimulation.

First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
I really liked the box for the Temptasia Rattle Snake. The picture of the snake on the front tells you everything you need to know about the over-the-top look and feel of this toy. The box opens sideways and has a magnetic closure, features that I always find a little extra luxurious.

Features
- Pulsing plasma ball for clitoral stimulation
- Vibrating “tail” for internal stimulation
- 10 vibration modes for (3 speeds, 7 patterns)
- IPX7 waterproof
Specifications
- Material: Puria body-safe silicone with UltraSilk satin-smooth finish, glass
- Dimensions: Total length: 13.7”, insertable length: 8.9”, insertable width: 2.3”
- Color: Purple
- Power type: USB charger (cable included)
How Do I Use The Temptasia Rattle Snake?
First, charge up your rattle snake with the included USB charger. To get yourself warmed up externally, place the plasma ball against your clitoris and long hold the top button (looks like a sun) on the snake’s head to get it vibrating. Keep pressing the button to cycle through the 10 vibration patterns. To turn off the external plasma vibes, long press the top button again.

When you’re ready for a little tail action, insert the snake’s tail with the help of some lube, and repeat the process, this time pressing the bottom button (looks like a wave) on the snake’s head.
My Personal Experience
Packaging
The packaging really highlights how fun and indulgent it is, with a picture of the snake shooting lightning bolts out of the plasma ball, and “Temptasia” (the Blush collection this toy belongs to) emblazoned on the top. It would be a little disappointing if a toy like this came in a beige cloth bag or plain black box.

It doesn’t come with any instructions, but the vibrator is easy to figure out, with the two buttons corresponding to the external and internal components. The box does have a QR code on the inside, so if you get stuck, that will help you figure it out.
Design
The design of Temptasia Rattle Snake is…something else. It won’t appeal to everyone, but I can imagine a lot of people will absolutely love it. The snake design is amazing and very detailed, with different types of scales on its back and stomach that not only look cool, but provide some great sensations while using it internally. The glowing plasma ball in the snake’s mouth looks really great, but it only glows orange. I would have enjoyed seeing different colors (and on the marketing, it looks more blue/purple).

Blush’s website calls it “discreet” and while I don’t think someone seeing this out on your living room mantle would automatically assume it was a sex toy, I still wouldn’t use the word “discreet” to describe any aspect of this toy. It’s wild, fun, and audacious, and anyone with an affinity for snakes will certainly love it.
This toy would be great for partner play, especially during role-play. I can easily imagine coming up with a cool romantasy scenario where someone needs to seduce or succumb to the power of the magical rattle snake in order to learn the secrets of its mystical orb (I’m not a romantasy fan, but…I don’t know, that seems like the sort of thing that might happen).

One design nitpick I have is the shape. While I like the curved shape overall, the snake’s tail can press into your stomach while using it externally.
Material
The Temptasia Rattle Snake is made of Puria silicone with an UltraSilk finish. It is extremely rigid, which is common with g-spot toys. There’s a tiny bit of squish and flexibility in the rattle part of the tail, but that’s it. With the different patterns on the snake design, it is very textured internally, while being very smooth externally, with the plasma ball.

Stimulations
Externally, I found it to be a little weak. I don’t love rounded external vibes in general, and while the hard glass material made it easy to press up against, I find myself preferring sex toys that are more conical shaped. The coolest part about it is the glowing orb, but you can’t see it while you’re using it between your legs. It would be great for partner play, though.
Using the Temptasia Rattle Snake internally is where it really shines. The textures on the tail and on the snake’s body itself feel amazing while inserting it, so if that’s a sensation you like, I would absolutely recommend this one. It has 10 vibration modes in all (3 speeds and 7 patterns) and while the vibes got intense, I never found them painful or uncomfortable.

Sound Level
This rattle snake does not rattle super loudly, so there’s no need to worry about anyone overhearing you.
Build Quality and Dimensions
Despite its ridiculous novelty design, the Rattle Snake is clearly high quality. Blush’s site advertises it as being a travel-friendly option—now, while this toy isn’t huge, with a total length of 13.7 inches, there are much smaller travel options out there.

Ease of Use
Using this toy was pretty intuitive, to the point where even I could figure it out without instructions. One issue I had was pressing the buttons. Since the toy is so textured, it was sometimes difficult to figure out what was a button and what was a snake scale. Normally, I would have some harsh words about sacrificing usability for aesthetics, but for a toy this outrageous, I really can’t fault them for going all-out in terms of design if it meant the buttons were a little harder to find.
Versatility
While this one definitely worked better as an internal toy, it worked just fine externally as well. It is also waterproof, so you can take this snake in the bath.
Warranty and Support
Blush offers a 1 year warranty.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The only issues I had with the Temptasia Rattle Snake stem from its design. Namely, the curved shape, the rounded external stimulator, and the texture make it hard to find the buttons. However, the design is also the coolest thing about it, and anyone who’s drawn to this toy isn’t necessarily going to want something with basic, easy functionality. There are a lot of great products that offer that, but not many that look like snakes holding mystical orbs in their mouths.
Review Summary
Pros
- Looks amazing
- Dual sides can be controlled separately
- Intuitive controls
- Textured body feels great
- Did I mention it looks amazing?
Cons
- Snake design will not be to everyone’s taste
- Rounded external component makes pinpoint pleasure impossible
- Design makes it a little awkward to hold while using it externally
- Highly textured head makes the buttons hard to find
Alternatives to the Temptasia Rattle Snake
The Natural Love Company Cassia
If you like the idea of something that can do double duty as an internal and external vibrator, but don’t love the snake aesthetic, then the Cassia by the Natural Love Company is a fantastic option. My only real complaint about it was that it was too boring looking, so it’s pretty much the opposite of the Blush Rattle Snake in that regard.

The Seahorse Siren
If you want a vibrator that can pleasure you internally as well as externally…at the same time, then you should get yourself a rabbit vibrator. While there are plenty of great ones out there, if you like the idea of getting it on with something scaly, then the Seahorse Siren (though to me, it looks more like a slug) might just be your next favorite. Not only does it provide both types of pleasure at the same time, it also has a warming function.
