The packaging was extremely simple, which made sense, since the clit vibrator itself is also very simple! It’s a plain brown cardboard box with the company name and logo on it. I would call it discreet if it weren’t for the label on the sticker that says exactly what product you’re getting.

I’ve seen packaging that was over-the-top and packaging that looked like I was about to try out a medical device, but don’t think I’ve ever seen packaging as, well, basic as this.

I did find it amusing that such a simple product came with two product guides—I’ve had to deal with many more complicated toys that made me figure out how to use them on my own.

How Do I Use The Mantric Clitoral Vibrator?

1. First, charge up your vibe with the included charging cable. The bottom of the toy has a panel that blinks red light while it’s charging, then glows steadily when it’s ready for playtime.

My Personal Experience

Design

The Mantric Clitoral Vibrator has a lovely, sleek design. The part that fits in your hand is smooth and rounded, with a button that’s very easy to press while using it. The exciting side of the toy is curved, making it easy to rest against your erogenous zones.

It also has a little ridge towards the tip. While the ridge doesn’t provide what I would call “pinpoint precision”, it does allow for some focused intensity and definitely adds a lot to my overall enjoyment of the toy.

While the bottom panel of the toy looked nice and blinked different colors depending on the mode I was using, I ultimately didn’t think it was a necessary feature. I think that unless a screen with glowing lights is an integral part of a sex toy’s aesthetic, it doesn’t really add anything and makes me wish the expense and effort it took to add it to the toy had gone into some other aspect of the design or functionality.

Material

The Mantric Clitoral Vibrator is made of silicone. While it is very smooth, this toy isn’t at all flexible or squishy, which makes it easy to grind up against. Flexible toys can feel amazing while you’re holding them, but sometimes they are just a little too flexible and end up feeling more frustrating than anything else.

Another thing I appreciated about this toy was how quiet it was. While I like the hot pink color of this toy, it really is the only thing preventing it from being truly discreet. Because the sound and the shape are both extremely subtle as sex toys go.

With a circumference of 5.25 inches and a length of 3.5 inches, the Mantric Clitoral Vibrator fits perfectly in the palm of the hand and fits over all the erogenous zones, without taking up too much space. I also really appreciated the quality of the toy overall.

Ease of Use

With its one button and simple design, the Mantric Clitoral Vibrator is very easy to use in terms of functionality. However, the combination of the shape and the powerful vibrations means that it’s not exactly comfortable to hold.

The website touts the toy as being “great for muscle massage as well as erotic play”, and that is very true…it gives your hand a pretty intense massage! It was the kind of massage that left me a little tingly afterwards (and my hand is not where I like to feel tingly after using a toy).

With that in mind, I would absolutely recommend this toy for partner play…as long as your partner is the one holding it.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

The only issue I had with the Mantric Clitoral Vibrator was just how much it made my hand vibrate. A bit of an uncomfortable feeling, unless the palm of your hand happens to be an erogenous zone for you.

Also, and this is totally personal, I just didn’t like the addition of the panel on the bottom. I thought it took away just a little from the overall sleek aesthetic, and while the lights looked pretty, they weren’t really located in a place where I could see them. I wish that the time and money it took to include that feature had been used on some other aspect of the toy (more vibration modes, etc.).
