What Is The FIORE Vibrating Rose Ring?
The Rose Ring is exactly that. It’s a small silicone external vibe in the shape of a rose that perches atop a gold (well, gold-colored) ring. But the main question isn’t so much “What” as it is “Why”. Let’s say you want a discreet toy that you can use in case you absolutely need some self-pleasure time on-the-go, but don’t want to use an egg toy.
Fair enough, but wearing this ring will attract a ton of attention, especially with the magnetic dots on the side for the charging cable. And people aren’t going to say, “Wow, what a pretty piece of costume jewelry,” they’re going to say, “Wow, what is that?” Much safer to just carry around a tiny vibrator in your purse, if you ask me.
The instructions say, “For the best experience, use with plenty of water-based lubricant.” So, you’re supposed to carry lube around with you all the time? For a toy whose selling point is that it’s tiny and subtle? Couldn’t that potentially get a bit messy? If you’re really so desperate for a release that you need a product to help you out, just try to schedule some time to do it at home. Also, who knows what kinds of germs could get into all those crevices while it’s on your finger as you go out and about?
Now, I know you’re going to tell me that this toy isn’t really meant to be worn and used in public, to which I say, “Well, they shouldn’t have referred to it as ‘super discreet for pleasure on-the-go’ on the website, then, should they?!” But let’s look at it as a toy to use in the privacy of your own home. It’s…still not great. All the things that make it supposedly discreet make it a bit of a hassle. The button placement is such that you have to fumble with it every time you want to switch to a different mode, and while being able to use it as a ring has its advantages, there are plenty of toys out there with comfortable grips.
You know you’re in trouble when one of the listed Key Features of a toy is “Great idea as a gift for a partner”. There’s a place in my heart for outrageous gimmicky toys. I unironically loved a toy meant to look like a snake with a magic orb in its mouth, so don’t accuse me of a lack of whimsy. But when a toy is meant to be a gag gift as opposed to something to love and use over and over…I just can’t get behind that.

Credit where it’s due (and there are some things I liked about this toy), the box is extremely cute. The design on the front is lovely, with gold lettering against the soft pink background. It’s hard to put my finger on why, but there’s something very French about the box design. It also opens with a hinge like a ring box!

How Do I Use The FIORE Vibrating Rose Ring?
- The Rose Ring comes with a magnetic USB charger and charges via the two magnetic dots on the side of the ring.
- Once it’s charged, turn it on by long pressing the button on the other side of the ring.
- Then continue pressing the button to cycle through the 10 vibration modes (3 speeds and 7 patterns. Or maybe 4 speeds and 6 patterns, can’t quite tell if the 4th mode has a subtle pulsation to it, or if it’s just more powerful than the 3rd).
- To turn it off, simply long press the button again.
- The easiest way to use it is probably to flip the ring around (so that the flower is on the same side as your palm), then proceed to touch whatever erogenous zones you wish. You’ll also want to use a bit of lube.
My Personal Experience
Design
The FIORE Vibrating Rose Ring looks very nice on its own, but on an actual finger…well, “discreet” it ain’t! The rose is gigantic, and the magnets you use to charge it are extremely obvious. The ring part itself doesn’t adjust either, so it isn’t a perfect fit, and kept sliding around my finger as I was using it. And for what it’s worth, my ring size is 6, which puts me at about average.
If you’ve read any of my reviews, you know that buttons are something I pay very close attention to, and it’s another area where this toy just didn’t do it for me. The button is located on the side of the ring, meaning you have to press it with your thumb, assuming you’re wearing it on the inside of your pointer finger. However, the button isn’t very easy to press, so you really have to squish it between your thumb and middle finger if you want a new vibration mode.
Material
The silicone of the rose did feel nice. If this toy were scaled up and the rose were attached to a wand, I would have been a fan.
Stimulations
The stimulations aren’t all that powerful, but since the Rose Ring is so small, they feel pretty powerful, which is kind of cool. The patterns and vibrations aren’t very varied (hence my not being able to tell if the 4th vibration mode is a regular vibration or has a bit of a pulsation), but for such a small toy, I appreciated that there were 10 different modes.
Sound Level
The FIORE Vibrating Rose Ring is pretty quiet, which was about the only discreet thing about it.
Build Quality and Dimensions
For how small it was, I did appreciate how nice the silicone felt. The lack of an adjustable ring and the difficulty of pressing the button definitely didn’t make the FIORE Vibrating Rose Ring seem very high-quality. That said, I’d imagine any toy this size would be hard to make luxurious.
Ease of Use
The FIORE Vibrating Rose Ring is not particularly easy to use, considering how much it slipped off my finger and how hard it was to press the button. If you genuinely want a vibrator that you can use in public places (and please be mindful about doing that), stick with an egg toy, or just a small toy you can use in your purse. Aside from a huge wand toy, just about any external vibe could fit the bill.
Versatility
Again, the site promises that it can be used for “discreet pleasure on the go”, but…it really can’t. Even the fact that it requires some lube makes it less-than-discreet. And in terms of using it at home, the ring design makes it hard to maneuver and put just where you want it.
Warranty and Support
Lovehoney offers a “100 day pleasure guarantee”, and they have a 1-year warranty for toys that are defective.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The oversized ring kept slipping off, the button was difficult to press, and the rose itself looked anything but discreet. The ring design also sent the vibrations straight to my finger.
