The packaging was an automatic winner for me, since it actually came with the required batteries. That would be a great addition for a $100+ toy, but for a free G-spot vibrator? You spoil me, Lovehoney! It also comes with a cute box, an instruction guide, and a safety guide.
Design
I’ve used a lot of sex toys with “g-spot’ in the name, and more often than not, it means they’re shaped…like a basic dildo. The Lovehoney Purple Slimline, however, did something a little different, and the design got me feeling the g-spot love! The slimline has an appropriately slender body, with a bulbous head perched on top at an angle. It was a great design that made it easy to stimulate my g-spot.
The bulbous tip wasn’t particularly tapered, which is the shape I typically prefer, but once it was inside me, I saw the appeal! It’s like using an egg vibrator, but with the added benefit of being able to position it just where you want it from the outside. I also appreciated the fact that the slim part of the Slimline wasn’t so slim that it was hard to hold while using the toy.

The Lovehoney Purple Slimline is made of hard plastic, which I didn’t particularly mind. For a product specifically designed to hit the g-spot just right, I think its being so stiff only made sense. Something squishy and flexible might feel a bit more luxe, but wouldn’t get you the precision you want from a toy like this.

Overall, I was very impressed by the build quality of the Slimline. While the hard plastic felt less luxe than squishy silicone, I appreciated the fact that I was able to use it to get pinpoint precision without it just being a thin little tube.
I also liked the dimensions of the toy. It was definitely long enough to satisfy and to get the tip right where it needed to be, but it wasn’t unwieldy. Reaching the button on the bottom was a little bit awkward, but that’s to be expected with this type of toy, and a truly perfect button system is a rare thing indeed.
Ease of Use
The Lovehoney Purple Slimline could not have been easier to use. The bulbous head might have a bit too much width for a beginner to be comfortable with, and anyone using it will need a bit of lube, but inserting the toy is easy. The one button on the bottom also makes it easy to cycle through the options. While the button is in a bit of an awkward place, it does press very easily, so I appreciated that.
Versatility
The Lovehoney Purple Slimline can be used for both g-spot and clitoral stimulation. While it made for a good clitoral vibrator, the g-spot was where it really shone. If you’re mostly all about the internal pleasure, with a little bit of external stimulation on the side, this is one I’d recommend. Minor Issues I Found During Testing
