Nu Sensuelle Baelii G-Spot VibratorNu Sensuelle Baelii G-Spot Vibrator ReviewThe Baelii is a slim, flexible g-spot vibrator by Nu Sensuelle boasting 20 different vibration functions. Do any of these functions actually get me going, or is this little toy all looks and no action? Read my review of the Baelii to find out.

Key Takeaways

3.8 out of 5 stars3.8 out of 5 stars

With its slim, extremely tapered tip and flexible shaft, Baelii is a great option for those seeking pinpoint precision. It’s also quite powerful, so be prepared for a lot of intensity as you use it.

Who Should Try It? If you want a g-spot vibrator that really delivers on power while also being slim and flexible enough to get it right where you want it, Baelii would be a great toy for you. If you want something that will deliver an intense orgasm without any fuss, buildup, or afterglow, this is definitely one for you. If you want a new (or should I say…Nu) quickie companion, this toy is a great bet.

Who Can Skip It? If you’ve never tried a g-spot vibrator before, don’t be tempted by the slim shape of the Baelii—it’s powerful enough that I would not recommend it to a first timer. And while it is small enough to pack in your bag, its volume makes it less than ideal for discreet playtime.

You Can Buy It on the SheVibe website for $50.

What Is The Baelii?

The Baelii, more properly known as The Baelii 20-Function Flexible Mini Silicone G-Spot Vibrator By Nu Sensuelle, is indeed a g-spot vibrator with 20 functions. Its tapered tip makes it great for people who really want to focus the power in one spot (as opposed to a toy with a more bulbous head like the Lovehoney Slimline). I’m not totally sure about the word “mini” as a descriptor, though. With a length of 3.75”, it’s certainly small, especially for an internal vibrator, but I’d save the word “mini” for something like The Blush Bullet.

First Impressions and Features

Unboxing

This is the third Nu Sensuelle product I’ve tried and I am always impressed by their packaging. This one came in a box that opens from the side, like a book, which I think is always the best way to show off a sex toy! It also comes with a bag, which is always the best way to store a toy. At first I was worried that the bag was too small, but the Nu Sensuelle fits inside perfectly!

How Do I Use The Baelii?

First, charge up the Baelii via the included charging cable. It uses a magnetic charging system, which has an undeniable cool factor, but it does make it easy for the cable to disconnect if it’s not placed just right.

The device chargingThe device charging

Once your Baelii is fully charged, simply insert it, then press and hold the lightning bolt button to turn it on. Continue to press the lightning bolt button to cycle through the different vibration modes. If you want to go back to the previous vibration mode, simply press the other button (which looks a little like the Libra symbol. Or a wave if you’re not an astrology girly). When you’re ready to be done playing, simply hold the lightning bolt button again to turn the toy off.

My Personal Experience

Packaging

As I say, I loved the packaging for Baelii. The way the box opened felt luxurious, and I loved the fact that it came with a bag. It also came with a helpful instruction booklet, which may not seem like a big deal…until you find yourself confronted with confusingly-designed toys and no instruction booklet.

Design

Baelii is almost the total opposite of the last g-spot vibe I reviewed, the Lovehoney Slimline. The Baelii is thinnest at the tip and bulges out at the shaft instead of having a bulbous head, it is extremely flexible instead of being made of rigid plastic, etc. And you know what? Both vibrators are great, and whichever you’ll like better depends entirely on personal preference.

The ultra-slim tip (.75”) of the Baelii makes it great for pinpoint precision, if that’s what you prefer. Personally, I tend to like toys with a wider surface area I can enjoy, but that’s just me.

The G-spot tipThe G-spot tip

One thing that confused me a little about this toy was the symbols on the buttons. Why they went with a lightning bolt and a wave instead of a simple +/- is beyond me. It’s not like a Zalo toy, where mystical symbols are part of the aesthetic—it’s a simple, sleek g-spot vibe.

Also, the fact that it didn’t have a separate handle meant that internal g-spot vibrations led to intense hand vibrations. So, maybe use this one for partner play and just have your partner use it on you!

Material

The Baelii is made of flexible silicone. It isn’t squishy, which may be a downside for you, but the lack of squish does offer the kind of precision that’s helpful with g-spot vibrators.

Stimulations

The Baelii is a powerful vibrator. SheVibe rates it a 2/4, but I respectfully disagree. Anything that sends water droplets flying out of my water dish (for those that don’t watch the videos, that’s not a euphemism; it’s how I demonstrate vibration strength and patterns) on only the second vibration mode is an intense sex toy! Nu Sensuelle themselves rate it a 6 on their intensity scale, which makes a lot more sense (or rather…sense-uelle) to me!

The charging portThe charging port

What’s notable about Baelii is that it has 20 different vibration patterns. It’s rare to see a toy with more than 10, so I definitely appreciated that. The first 7 modes are just a basic vibe that increases in intensity, followed by 13 patterns. I know people are divided on whether they prefer basic vibes or patterns, but with 7 and 13 to choose from respectively, you’ll have no problem finding the right mode for you, no matter which you prefer. As long as you like a lot of power, that is.

Sound Level

While the word “mini” in the name implies it’s discreet and/or super travel-friendly, the noise level makes that…not true. While it isn’t super loud, it’s not what I’d call whisper-quiet either. SheVibe rates it a 2/4 on their volume scale, and I’d agree.

Build Quality and Dimensions

The Baelii is beautifully designed, though its shape may not be to everyone’s (or everyone’s g-spot’s) taste. Even the confusingly labeled buttons are aesthetically pleasing. It’s made of flexible silicone, and while it doesn’t have the luxe squishy feeling of some silicone toys, that’s clearly a deliberate choice for better precision.

With a total length of 3.75 inches, it’s a little small (hence the “mini” in the name), but it isn’t so small that it’s uncomfortable to hold, let alone use. The width at the base is .875 inches, and the width at the tip is only .75 inches, so it’s also very slim. If you want a vibrator that’s small and will get you to the finish line in a hurry, this is one to consider. But if you want one that’s discreet, the sound level might be a deterrent.

The control buttonsThe control buttons

Ease of Use

With its simple, two-button system, the Baelii is very easy to use and get the hang of. The only potentially confusing thing about it is the labels on the buttons (a lightning bolt and wave instead of a +/-), but pressing the wrong button will only mean moving one step up or down in the pattern cycle, so pressing the wrong button isn’t a big deal.

Versatility

While Baelii can certainly be used for external pleasure, it was clearly designed for g-spot stimulation, and that’s where it really shines. The combination of the tiny tip and intense vibrations means that it would probably be a bit much for most people to use externally.

It’s also waterproof, which is a big plus.

Warranty and Support

Nu Sensuelle offers a 2-year warranty.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

The intensity level of Baelii might not be for everyone, but some people will definitely love it. The only other issue I had was the labels on the buttons. While I appreciate a whimsical design as much as the next person, the rest of the toy is so simple that the button designs don’t make a lot of sense, especially since they control the same thing, the vibration modes. When I first took a look at the toy, I assumed the lightning bolt controlled the level of intensity and the wave controlled the vibration pattern. A simple +/- system would have made a lot more sense to me.

Alternatives to the Baelii

Nu Sensuelle Nubii Chloe

Want something even more slim and basic than the Baelii? Well, Nu Sensuelle’s Nubii Chloe might be a better fit for you. It doesn’t have patterns, it just increases in intensity without reaching the powerful vibes of the Baelii. It also has a warming function.

The Zalo Courage

Anything but basic, at least in terms of looks, the Zalo Courage is a beautifully designed g-spot vibrator that will make you feel like a princess just by holding it. It also has a warming function, and while its controls are not exactly intuitive, they are easy to master with a little bit of practice.
