If pressing the button 15 times to reach the most intense mode sounds tedious, don’t worry—it has a Turbo-Boost function that immediately increases the intensity to the most powerful mode.

Unboxing
One area where Nu Sensuelle never fails is their packaging. Their products always look so tempting and sophisticated, and this one came with a bag (always a favorite feature).
It also came with a little card reassuring me that while the toy “may have minor liquid seepage…it is body-safe and complies with Prop 65 regulations.” I didn’t experience any of this liquid seepage, but that’s good to know.

How Do I Use The Bella XLR8?
- First, charge your Bella with the included charging cable. Charging should take about 2.5 hours for 30-60 minutes of playtime.
- Then, with some water-based lube, simply slide in the toy and use the two buttons on the base to find your perfect vibe.
- Long-press either button to turn it on, then press the buttons to explore the 15 different vibration levels and 5 patterns.
- To access the Turbo-Boost mode, double click either button. That will increase the vibration intensity to the highest level (the 15th vibration mode) for 12 seconds.
My Personal Experience
Design
I thought Bella looked familiar, then I went back through old reviews and realized it was very similar to the Baelii, also by Nu Sensuelle, and another vibrator I rated very highly. The design of the Bella is longer and thicker than the Baelii (5.91”x 1.18” versus 3.75” 0.875”), but still slim enough to be comfortable.
I really like the shape of this toy, with its extremely tapered tip that makes for easy insertion and pinpoint g-spot stimulation. I also like how it flares out in the middle, then tapers back down. The box references its “billowing silicone”, and I’m assuming that’s what they’re referring to. The toy also has ridges towards the base, which add even more to the overall sensations.
Material
Thao, the co-founder and lead production engineer for Nu Sensuelle is quoted on the back of the product guide as saying, “Our new velvet-touch silicone is ultra-soft and swaths your sensory spots with a cloud-like euphoria, allowing you to melt into the magic of pleasure”. While that may be overstating things a little bit (also, what’s a non-sensory spot?), Bella is extremely soft, squishy, and flexible.
Stimulations
The stimulations on Bella are very intense, even at its lower levels. Nu Sensuelle themselves rate its intensity a Level 9, while SheVibe rates it 3/4. I appreciate the fact that it has two buttons to navigate them, so that you can increase or decrease the intensity, instead of having to cycle through them all to get back to your preferred one. I also really liked the turbo boost feature that allows you to jump straight to the most intense vibration.
Sound Level
Bella is quite loud, which makes sense considering how powerful it is. SheVibe puts it at a 2/4 on their volume scale, but honestly, I’d call it a 3/4.
Build Quality and Dimensions
With a total length of 5.91 inches and a width of 1.18 inches, Bella is small without being difficult to hold and maneuver. Again, if you’re into size, this won’t necessarily be a great one for you, but it’s intense in other ways.
The velvet touch liquid silicone lives up to its name and feels wonderfully smooth. I also liked how flexible and squishy it was. The toy did come with a warning that it might have “liquid seepage”, but I didn’t have that issue.
Ease of Use
Overall, Bella is extremely easy to use. The button interface is simple, and the fact that you can use either button to either start the turbo-boost mode or turn the toy on or off cuts down on a lot of awkward fumbling around.
My one nitpick was that the buttons weren’t always easy to find on the base of the toy, especially since they’re so close to the charging dots that it took me a second to differentiate them (you can see for yourself in the image below). But once I found the buttons, they were extremely responsive.
Versatility
Well, the Nu Sensuelle website description says this toy is “ideal for personal and medical applications.” Medical? Huh? I’m not an expert, but that seems like a malpractice suit waiting to happen.
Jokes aside, I wouldn’t call Bella super versatile, and that’s okay. It is waterproof, so it can help you unwind in the bath or shower. Its shape makes it uniquely suited as a g-spot vibrator, so while you technically could use it externally, there are many more toys better suited for that purpose.
Although it’s small, it’s a bit too loud to be a discreet travel toy, and I don’t think its small shape would make it the best choice for partner play. It’s also a bit too powerful for a slow, sensual self-pleasure session. In my review of the Baelii, I said, “ If you want a toy that will deliver an intense orgasm without any fuss, buildup, or afterglow, this is definitely one for you,” and that statement is even more true of the Bella, with its turbo-boost function that instantly gives you the most intense vibes without having to press the button 15 times.
Warranty and Support
If your love affair with this Bella is somehow a worse love story than Twilight, Nu Sensuelle offers a 2-year warranty.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
My only issue with Bella was the button placement. Having buttons on the base made them a bit awkward to find, especially since the Bella has raised dots for the magnetic charger, which are easy to confuse with the buttons. But the buttons are easy to press, which is definitely a plus.

A lot smaller and a little less intense (rated an 8 as opposed to a 9 by Nu Sensuelle), the Baelii is another great toy from Nu Sensuelle. There’s also a version with the Turbo-Boost feature, if that sounds appealing to you. It has all the same features, but has a slimmer and shorter package.
The VeDO Desire
Winner of the top spot in our g-spot vibrators ranking, The VeDO Desire is another great g-spot vibe. Its unique curved shape makes it a little easier to hold than the Bella. Instead of 20 vibration modes, it has 10 vibration modes and it has 6 intensity levels, meaning there are 60 stimulations in all to choose from.
SheVibe also rates it a 3/4 in terms of intensity, but personally I found it less intense than either the Baelii or the Bella.
