How Do I Use The Whisperer?
- To charge The Whisperer, simply insert the USB charging cable into the toy via the tiny hole at the base. A light above the button will stay on while the toy is charging, then turn off once it’s fully charged. And when your Whisperer needs to be recharged, the light will blink.

My Personal Experience
Design
The design is really lovely. It’s small enough to discreetly slip into a purse or bag, while being big enough to feel solid in your hand. The “lipstick” end is perfectly angled, with a little indentation meant to caress your clit:
While I personally prefer the opposite (toys with a little bump near the tip) I liked this design a lot. It felt great, and I didn’t need to hold my hand at a weird angle to reach the button. If you’re new to the world of pleasure, or if it’s just been a while, the shape will do a great job of stimulating your clitoris without needing any kind of pinpoint precision on your part.
There’s a reason the website keeps touting The Whisperer as being great for new moms (a demographic sex toys usually aren’t advertised to): it was co-created with mothers from the Mumsnet community! Forget Masters of the Universe-themed Temptations, this is a collaboration I love to see! So, while anyone can use this toy, it was designed specifically by moms, for moms. Even its soothing green color adds to its appeal as a more gentle toy.
While I do love hot pink, it wouldn’t quite fit the, well, vibe of this vibe, nor would a sleek, sophisticated black and silver aesthetic. The green is the perfect touch, and another detail of the design that was very well thought-out.

The silicone on The Whisperer feels amazing! It’s soft, flexible, and squishy, while still feeling satisfying. It feels luxurious in a way something like The Lovehoney Flash (while being a great toy in a different way) just doesn’t, with its rigid design. Even though the silicone on The Whisperer is flexible, the shape makes it easy to grind up against, so you’re not sacrificing sensation for a superficially nice-feeling toy:
While The Whisperer is small and does get pretty powerful, I could really tell this sex toy was really designed for people who want to carve out some gentle self-care time, not people who want a travel toy for a quick little bit of excitement.
Stimulations
The comparative lack of stimulation was the one thing I didn’t love about The Whisperer. While the stimulations feel good, and there is a wide variety between the first three stimulations (the basic vibrations that increase in intensity), I wish there had been more patterns, or better yet, a way to control the intensity of the patterns. Five stimulations are not a lot, and if you’re sensitive, there just may not be one that you respond to. Again, though, this is completely personal, and I know a lot of people actively dislike having to cycle through patterns.

The Whisperer is very easy to use, from its lipstick shape to its simple, one-button system. If you’re new to self-pleasure, or it’s been a while, this clit vibrator will take all the guesswork out of using it. You just need to decide which vibration mode is your favorite!
Build Quality and Dimensions
The build quality of The Whisperer is very impressive, especially considering the fact that its price tag is under $50. Slim and just under 4 inches, this toy is extremely discreet, while still feeling luxurious to hold. It would be a great choice as an everyday vibrator, and you can bring it along with you on your travels, as opposed to buying an extra travel vibrator.
The website touts the fact that it can fit in your purse or under a pillow, which it definitely can, but…those seem like questionable places for it. I’m not putting a sex toy in my purse unless it comes with a bag!
Versatility
While the concave curve on the angled tip makes this toy feel amazing on the clitoris, it makes it a tiny bit less suited to use on other erogenous zones. But that’s really not an issue. It’s waterproof, which is a feature I personally don’t take advantage of, but definitely adds to the self-care aspect, if you want to use it during a long soak with some bubble bath.
