If you’ve read any of my other gag reviews, you’ll probably already be familiar with how vigorously I criticize ones that prevent the wearer from breathing comfortably. To my great relief and total respect for The Stockroom, that isn’t the case with this product. With its perfectly sized center and two-inch ring, I do not think most people will ever feel like they might choke, which is not just unpleasant but may actually be dangerous for the wearer’s health.

Wearing the Silicone O-Ring Bondage Mouth Gag is wonderfully easy. All that’s necessary is for the wearer to insert the ring into their mouth so it lies behind their lips but in front of their teeth. Having said that, ring gags may not be for everyone, as some people may find them uncomfortable or unpleasant due to the size and/or shape of their mouths.

Similarly, others may find they can only wear one for short periods of time before needing a break. It’s why I always suggest that whenever using any type, a ring or otherwise, the person wearing it should find a way to communicate with their partner without speaking.

Though it’s worth mentioning that in my case, the ring did feel perhaps a little too wide in that it stretched my lips a little too much, but never so much that it was painfully uncomfortable, I just needed to remove it periodically.

We were also extremely impressed by how each of us could easily breathe and, after a fashion, even communicate when needed. Firstly, despite its simplicity, you can immediately tell a lot of care went into designing and crafting it. Like how the buckle has a rounded prong, and the belt has slots rather than the small holes many other gags use. Likewise, there’s no reason why the belt should have decorative, pseudo-stitches, but it does because The Stockroom, in its infinite, kinky wisdom, thought it’d look extra cool!
