What Is The Love Bunny?
The Love Bunny is a rabbit vibrator from CalExotics that offers some unique stimulations, thanks to the internal beads that move up and down the shaft. Unlike the thrusting mechanism in the Zalo Desire, which moved the entire toy up and down in a jackhammer motion (and I say that with love—the Zalo Desire is great), the Love Bunny achieves this stimulation with a ring of beads that moves up and down the shaft. Besides those thrusting beads, the shaft also vibrates, as does the external stimulator. It has three motors overall, and the experience is as intense as it sounds!

How Do I Use The Love Bunny?
First, charge it up with the included USB charging cable. Charge time is about two hours, and playtime is about an hour (45 minutes on the most intense settings). For all its exciting features, the Love Bunny is extremely easy to use. First, hold down the power button for about three seconds. The light will turn on to let you know it’s ready. With the help of some lube, slide it inside so that the dildo is able to stimulate your g-spot and the rabbit ears are resting against your clitoris. Then press the power button again to cycle through the 12 internal vibe stimulations. To add some external action, press the other button (with the wavy line) to cycle through the 12 external vibes. My Personal Experience
Packaging
I really liked the packaging for Love Bunny, from the way it opened to the way the rabbit vibrator itself was resting inside the foam packaging, to the way the charging cord and instruction manual were tucked away at the top of the box, hidden by the packaging. Especially compared to the lackluster packaging of the Double Dancer, the last CalExotics toy I tried, the packaging on this sex toy was great. It was pretty much better than the Double Dancer in every other way, too, but the difference in packaging really said it all.
Design
As far as I’m concerned, the make or break factor for any sex toy is the button system, and I really liked this one. They were intuitive and easy to use, even while Love Bunny was inside me. I can imagine they would also make this toy a good choice for partner play.
The shaft has ridges at the tip, which is always a welcome feature. The rabbit attachment was unusual, in that it was smaller than I’m used to, and sat very close to the shaft. The ears were still able to reach where they had to, so it wasn’t a problem, but might be something to look out for if you’ve struggled with getting rabbit toys to sit just right.
Where the design could have been improved was in the beads. Now, I get it: the beads can only go so far up the shaft because the shaft has to taper at the tip (and thank goodness for that), but it’s impossible to insert the shaft very far into yourself because of the rabbit attachment. So, the beads just bounce up and down near your entrance. Which is fine, but feels a little odd and more than a little ticklish.
Material
The Love Bunny (surely “Beaded Bunny” was a better name choice?) is made of hard plastic and silicone. Despite the three motors inside, it is flexible and squishy at the tip, so you are getting the benefits of silicone. The rabbit itself isn’t super flexible, but I’ve found that’s often a good thing, since a too-flexible rabbit can bounce right off you.
Stimulations
The Love Bunny has 12 vibration patterns for both the external and internal components, and they can be used in any combination (my math isn’t great, but that’s over 100 combinations to play around with). I love being able to customize my masturbation experience as much as possible, so I really appreciated that feature. However, the stimulations started pretty strong and only got stronger. I wish there had been a way to control the intensity of the vibrations as well as the patterns.
This toy has a memory chip so that if you find your perfect pattern combination, you can pick up right where you left off, which is a very handy feature when you have over 100 combinations to choose from. If you’re like me and tend to need a very specific vibration pattern to get you going, it would be very tedious to have to think through, “Wait, did I like the 8th mode on the shaft and the 10th mode on the butterfly, or vice versa?”
Sound Level
With its three motors, Love Bunny isn’t particularly quiet. But with a toy like this, I think you’re better off with a long, luxurious session anyway.
Build Quality and Dimensions
This size (the total length is 7.5 inches, the diameter is 1.24 inches) is a great size, as far as I’m concerned. It also feels very solid and high-quality, thanks in part to its three motors. I was disappointed by the last CalExotics toy I tried, their Double Dancer, partly because of its overall cheap feel, but the Love Bunny succeeded in just about every way that the last one failed, including how high-quality it felt.
Ease of Use
The Love Bunny was very easy to use. The angled design of the handle and the design of the buttons made them easy to press, even while my G and my C were the recipients of…bunny love. Not only is cycling through the various patterns easy, but thanks to the tapered tip of the dildo and the design of the rabbit attachment, it was easy to insert and hit all the right spots. If it were just a little less intense, I can see myself recommending it to a beginner.
Versatility
While some rabbit vibrators only seem to have the external attachment slapped on as an afterthought, Love Bunny does internal and external stimulations equally well. The internal stimulations are obviously a bit more exciting, with the titular beads going up and down, but that on its own didn’t do it for me nearly as much as the combined internal and external stimulations.
This toy is also waterproof.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The beads stayed so close to the entrance that they felt more like a tickle than a thrust. Also, while I appreciated the myriad of pattern combinations, the ability to control the intensity would have been a welcome feature, since the vibrations were all pretty intense.
