The Evii by Biird is a ribbed external vibrator that promises to let you explore your erogenous zones in new and exciting ways, as well as fine-tune the sensations and intensities.
Does this toy bring me to the heights of forbidden pleasure, or is it for the Biirds? Read my review of the Evii to find out.
Key Takeaways

The design of Evii itself is adorable, with its pear shape and easy-to-use buttons. The ridges also make it special. If you’re grinding up against the flat side, they work as finger grooves to get a comfortable grip. And if you flip the toy over and experiment with the rounded side, those ridges feel amazing! The tip of the toy is also great for getting some precision. However, I question the idea of the large charging tray because it will take up needless space on a nightstand, plus it will collect dust.
My other issue with the design is the dual motors. While I like the intensity they provide, of course, one of the motors is right under where your hand naturally rests on top of the toy. So, as you can imagine, the vibrations go to your hand as well.
We also need to address the squishy marketing. The product description says, “Marshmallow, but in a toy… Evii feels ultra squishy and soft,” but that’s just not true. It’s soft and does feel very luxurious, but it is not squishy. At all.
Who Should Try It? If you love external stimulation on all your erogenous zones, Evii is a great option. While this toy has a lot of features that make it very beginner-friendly, I’m slightly more inclined to recommend it to someone who already knows they love external vibrators and wants to find more ways to experiment.
Who Can Skip It? If you’re looking for something quick and discreet, Evii won’t be the toy for you. While it is powerful, it’s definitely geared towards long, luxurious self-pleasure sessions, and is meant to be displayed on the accompanying charging tray. Plus, it’s not squishy at all, so don’t buy it if you’re looking for a squishy vibrator.
You Can Buy It on the SheVibe website for $89.
What Is Biird Evii?
The Evii (my word processor keeps wanting to correct to “Evil”, and every time I see the name, my mind registers it as “Evil” for a second, but no, it’s the E-V-I-I) is a pear-shaped vibe designed to fit in the palm of your hand. It’s meant to be displayed proudly on your bedside table, and comes with a charger that doubles as a jewelry tray.

Which is very cute, but it seems like a bit of a mixed metaphor. The art and the name are clearly going for Garden of Eden imagery, but since it’s meant to sit alongside jewelry, wouldn’t a gem comparison be more apt?
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
I really loved the packaging for Evii. The box it comes in has possibly the most subtle design I’ve seen on a sex toy. It’s just a blue box with a b on the front, and “biird” written on the side. If you didn’t know what this was, you’d assume the box contained an incredibly chic kitchen appliance or sophisticated new piece of technology.

But then you open the box, and the design gets even better. The box doesn’t open so much as it unfolds, revealing a cute pattern of little Evii-shaped fruits hanging from the trees. It also has general instructions on how to use the clit vibrator, a mission statement about de-stigmatizing pleasure (hence the fact that it’s designed to live on top of your nightstand, not in a drawer). It also has instructions on how to use the toy.

How Do I Use Biird Evii?
- First, plug in the Evii’s charging tray via the included charging cable. Place the Evii on the charging tray, making sure the charging pins are connected. A small light will flash as Evii charges, then turns off when fully charged. Charging time is about 2 hours, for 2.5 hours of playtime.
- Once Evii is fully charged, press the center circle button to turn it on, then keep pressing the button to cycle through the 8 vibration patterns. Use the +/- buttons to increase or decrease the intensity (there are 6 intensities in all).
- When you’re done playing, simply press the center button again. Plus, when you’re ready for another session, the toy will pick up on the last mode you left off on, with an intensity level of 3. That way, if you like to build up to higher intensities, you won’t suddenly be hit with level 6 right at the beginning of your session.
- The Evii’s shape is meant to be extremely versatile, so you can use the tip for some pinpoint precision or use the ridges to explore new sensations. Personally, I always use toys with a little bit of lube, but that’s optional in this case.

My Personal Experience
Design
The design of Evii itself is adorable, with its pear shape and easy-to-use buttons. However, I question the idea of the charging tray. While I appreciate that some people might really want to keep their toys out for all the world to see, and I do like how it sits upright on the tray, I don’t imagine a lot of people will want to use it as a jewelry tray. It seems like it would take up needless space on a nightstand, and it would serve the same empowering purpose if they used a tiny dish instead of a tray. I can’t help but think how much dust it would attract if left out in the open. And really, what’s the point of including the bag if the toy is meant to be used as a tchotchke?

In terms of the design, the ridges really make it special. If you’re grinding up against the flat side, they work as finger grooves to get a comfortable grip. And if you flip the toy over and experiment with the rounded side, those ridges feel amazing! The tip of the toy is also great for getting some precision.
The buttons were a tiny bit tricky to press while using the toy, but for a toy of this shape that doesn’t have a handle, I was impressed (pun intended) by how easy they were to press. I also loved the button interface: one button in the middle to control vibration pattern, with +/- buttons on either side to control intensity is the perfect layout and I will throw hands if anyone says otherwise:

My only issue with the design is the dual motors. While I like the intensity they provide, of course, one of the motors is right under where your hand naturally rests on top of the toy. So, as you can imagine, the vibrations go to your hand as well as to more exciting places. While this wasn’t a dealbreaker and is a problem with any toy of this shape, it was one of the few things I didn’t love about it.
Material
The SheVibe description says, “Marshmallow, but in a toy… Evii feels ultra squishy and soft,” and that is just not true. It is soft and does feel very luxurious, but it is not squishy. At all. Well, maybe a tiny bit at the tip, but that doesn’t count. And considering its dual motors, I’m not surprised it isn’t squishy. But if squishiness is the selling point for you, this is a toy to avoid.

Stimulations
First of all, I love a toy that includes the ability to control vibration intensity as well as the pattern. The 8 patterns are all very different, and the 6 intensity levels vary widely. You can really take your pick of different sensations with this forbidden fruit.
Sound Level
At its loudest, this toy reaches 50dB (about as loud as a refrigerator hum).

Build Quality and Dimensions
From the box to the accompanying charging tray, Evii is extremely high quality, while the cute shape and color make it nonthreatening. With a height and width both under 3 inches (2.87” x 2.89”), the clit vibrator itself is very small and compact. However, the nearly 6-inch-long charging tray makes it less-than-discreet. If you don’t love the idea of having this displayed on your nightstand table, then this won’t be the toy for you.
Ease of Use
While the size of the charging tray might not be to everyone’s taste, it does make charging the toy easy. The button system is also very simple to use. Plus, when you turn it back on, it automatically starts back up at the last pattern you were using, meaning there’s no need to remember which pattern was your favorite.

Versatility
Evii’s versatility was definitely a standout feature. Both the flat side and the side with ridges can be used to stimulate your erogenous zone, and its overall shape makes it easy to provide pleasure just about anywhere, while still having that smaller tip that perfectly stimulates the clitoris. It’s also waterproof.
The one thing that takes away from its versatility is the large charging tray, since it makes the toy too big to be a travel toy or a “discreetly hide in the nightstand drawer” toy. And I get that part of the point is to destigmatize sex toys by having them out in the open, but realistically, not everyone is going to want that.
Warranty and Support
Biird Evii comes with a 5-year satisfaction guarantee.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
While I loved the shape overall, the inclusion of the dual motors meant that one of those motors sent vibrations right to my hand. I also question the size of the charging tray it comes with, since not everyone wants to use a sex toy as a statement piece.
Review Summary
Biird Evii looks great, feels great, and has the option to control the vibration intensity as well as vibration patterns. The only downside is that I found its lovely shape got in the way of its functionality.
Pros
- Ability to adjust both pattern and intensity
- Versatile shape
- Memory function
- Dual motors
Cons
- Vibrations travel to the hands
- Charging tray won’t be for everyone
- Squishy marketing is incorrect
Alternatives to Biird Evii
The Whisperer
The Whisperer is a great addition to the Smile Makers Collection. Its lipstick shape and handle make it less versatile than the Evii, and it doesn’t have the option to control intensity as well as pattern.

However, for a beginner or new mom (the demographic the toy was specifically designed for), this more budget-friendly option might be a gentler introduction (or re-introduction) to the world of pleasure.
JimmyJane Form 2 Pro
My new go-to recommendation for external pleasure, the Form 2 Pro by JimmyJane has 5 vibration speeds and 5 modes. Designed more for quick, discreet play rather than long, luxurious sessions (though it could certainly work for that too), the Form 2 Pro has a lot of the same features I liked about the Evii, but without the bulky charging tray or hand vibrations.
