Key Takeaways

This is the most luxurious double-ended dildo I’ve ever tried, and the vibrations are to die for. Two-vulva couples will love this new way to scissor. It’s versatile, thanks to the app, and is just as much fun for solo pleasure. Highly recommended.
Who Should Try It? If you and your partner love high-end vibrations, you’ll be pleased by this luxurious option. It works well for internal vibrations, G-spot stimulation, and intimacy. Compared to double-ended thrusting dildos, this was much easier to keep in place and enjoy without having my pelvic floor tensed the entire time.
Who Can Skip It? Anyone who will mostly be using this vibrator alone can probably find something cheaper that does the trick, like the Dame Arc. This vibrator will stimulate your G-spot, but won’t work for people who want something large and in charge and rely on a feeling of fullness to climax.
You Can Buy It on the official LELO website for $229.
What Is the LELO BOOMERANG?
The LELO BOOMERANG is a dildo that can get two people with vulvas off at once. If it sounds like magic, that’s because it is. This dildo has two separate motors that can be independently controlled, and it’s flexible enough for you and your favorite partner to use simultaneously.

Two ladies, one vibrator is the order of the day.
The app-compatibility for long-distance play, to-die-for materials and design, and addictive vibration power are just the icing on the cake.
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
I am obsessed with the unboxing. As you see below, it comes with everything you could want, including the double vibe, a charging cord, a satin storage bag, the instruction manual, and a sample of lubricant. You can start those good vibrations right away.

Features
The LELO BOOMERANG has distinct features, including:
- App-compatibility, with bonus settings
- Sixteen intensity levels
- Two motors, independently controllable
- Waterproof and rechargeable
Specifications
The LELO BOOMERANG specifications at a glance:
- Material: Body-safe silicone and ABS plastic
- Size: 11 x 1.4 x 2.2”; 4.3” insertable on each end
- Color: Coral red, cerise, or purple
- Mechanism: Vibrating double-ended dildo
- Weight: 5.5 oz
How Do I Use the LELO BOOMERANG?
- Start by unboxing the LELO BOOMERANG, then charge it. It lasts a little over two hours on a full charge at medium to low settings. I got a full hour on the highest setting, which isn’t bad for two potent motors running at full tilt.
- Once the BOOMERANG is fully charged, wash it with warm water and antimicrobial soap and dry with a lint-proof towel.
- Then, grab your favorite water-based lubricant and make both ends of the toy slippery and your vulva as well.
- Use the three-button interface to turn the toy on, off, cycle through the intensities and speeds, or pair with the app.
- When you’re finished, wash it and store it in the silky bag it came in. You can throw the bag in your washing machine, too, if it gets dirty—just keep it away from the dryer.
My Personal Experience
I was excited about trying this since the moment I heard about it, but I was a little unsure how I would test it. My partner doesn’t have a vulva, and this isn’t anal safe. So, for science, I tested both ends myself, then got into position with my partner.

I loved it immediately. The girth and length are medium, and the toy isn’t designed to be phallic, making it even more inclusive. The design is stunning. It looks like it was shipped straight from the MOMA to your doorstep.
Independently controlled motors are especially important on a shared toy, and the LELO BOOMERANG delivered. One person can be at the highest vibration level, and the other person can turn it on lightly or off completely, should they prefer to grind. The vibrations themselves are so high quality. They are smooth, powerful, and completely addictive. Warning: after testing the BOOMERANG, I returned to the comfort of my regular nighttime vibe and found the vibrations to be a little disappointing. Once you go LELO, you might never go back.

The U-shape of the BOOMERANG is thoughtful. There is a solid part in the middle that doesn’t bend, and that’s where the buttons live. Even when fully inserted, you can still access the button panel easily. But when I used the toy against my partner, I found it much easier to control the settings from the app. For one, it’s just easier to reach. And secondly, the buttons on the BOOMERANG are super easy to accidentally hit, which isn’t a problem with the app.
For those who aren’t into penetration or have vaginal discomfort, you could use this as a double-ended clitoral vibrator. Getting the vibe to stay in position is somewhat trickier, but it works well for either erogenous zone. Using it internally was much more relaxing than when I’ve tried the double-ended thrusting dildos in the past, during which you must keep your pelvic floor continually flexed, or everything falls out of position. Since this vibrator includes vibration, you don’t have to rely on motion for stimulation, and it’s a much more chill experience.

Lastly, the BOOMERANG arrives with a default setting that shuts the toy off after twenty minutes of use. I realize that the intention is to help preserve the battery, but it makes me feel rushed. You can adjust the setting to anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes, which doesn’t fully solve the problem. I hope that in an upcoming update, they will allow you to disable the feature entirely. It’s disappointing enough when a sex toy turns off in the middle of solo play—it’s doubly disappointing when that happens when you’re playing with a partner.
Design
The design is gorgeous. Every detail is so pretty that it deserves to be flaunted. The ridges are subtle but lovely. You can tell someone crafted this with a combination of expertise, thoughtfulness, and experience.

Something to note is that the buttons are easy to push; maybe too easy. I accidentally hit them several times during solo use, and I can only imagine it happens more often with another partner involved. If you accidentally touch the power button, the toy turns on because you don’t have to hold it down. I turned it on several times while picking it up. Not a dealbreaker, but certainly a vibrator you’ll want to be careful with, so you don’t accidentally use up the battery.
The vibrating ends are ribbed, adding a nice texture. The ridges run long-ways, adding a light element of interest. There is nothing for your G-spot to grip, which many of the other double-ended dildos have, so plan on using your hands to hold the vibrator in place if you’ll be doing much thrusting. The shimmering ABS plastic in the middle doesn’t look cheap, but it draws the eye like glitter.

Material
LELO used my favorite kind of silicone for this vibrator. It’s silky but not squishy, so you can feel every last vibration. They also blended in ABS plastic in the most dazzling way.
Stimulations
I’m not sure how they do it, but there’s something so refined about the vibrations on a LELO device. They’re just so smooth, not mechanical or unbalanced at all. It makes other vibrators feel jerky and less sophisticated. Once you try it, it’s hard to go back to the others.

The device defaults to shutting off every twenty minutes, a feature I frequently lament. Otherwise, you will be delighted by the power and subtlety of these vibrations, and so will your partner.
Sound Level
When I tested the decibel levels, they ranged from 39 to 52. The website said it would be under 60 dB, and they were correct. It’s even quieter once inserted, except for the moans.

Build Quality and Dimensions
The build quality is so good, it’s virtually seamless. It’s not totally flexible; a few inches in the middle are sturdy, preventing it from bending in half. That gives you a little space to use the buttons even when fully inserted.
LELO BOOMERANG’s dimensions are firmly medium. This comfortably reaches your G-spot but isn’t girthy or lengthy enough for extreme sensations. The medium build means you may not need to reapply lube as often, allowing for more focus on your partner.

Ease of Use
This is an intuitive double-ended vibrator. It only has three buttons to learn to use, and you can just press them until you figure it out, no manual required.
Learning to use the app takes a minute, but maybe just one. And it’s well worth the effort. The LELO app adds a fabulous level of customizability and creativity. If you and your partner like to create your own rhythms, you’re going to have a lot of fun together. You could even make G-spot rhythm playlists to surprise each other.

Versatility
This gets medium-high versatility points. The app adds options and functionality, and the vibrations do as well on a clit as they do on a G-spot. However, it’s not anal safe, so this is only usable with vulva-havers.
Further, the LELO app is not quite as integrative as some others on the market. It provides the Love Bridge, which allows you to connect with a long-distance partner. And it has two hands-free, surprising rhythms called FINISH ME OFF and OUT OF CONTROL.

But it doesn’t offer gamification, sound syncing, and some of the other app options that are now becoming standard. It also occasionally disconnects, but it seems to improve with every update they offer. Pro tip: update the app before each use to have the best possible experience.
Warranty and Support
The BOOMERANG is covered by a one-year warranty and has a ten-year quality guarantee.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
Overall, I think this is a nearly perfect choice for lesbian couples. Yet the app connectivity was occasionally unstable, and the twenty-minute automatic shutoff is a bummer. You can up it to thirty minutes, which will solve the problem for some couples.
Review Summary
Pros
- Luxurious build
- Great for solo or partnered play
- App-capability gives you access to extra vibration modes
- Powerful, smooth vibrations
Cons
- Pricy
- App occasionally disconnects
- Automatic shutoff can’t be completely disabled
Alternatives to the LELO BOOMERANG
njoy Pure Wand
If you don’t need the vibrations and crave the ultimate ease of use, the njoy Pure Wand is a sure bet. This stainless-steel stunner is inclusive for people of any gender, as it can stimulate G-spots, P-spots, or both. It’s easy to clean and as straightforward as they come. The box they sent for storage is one of the prettier containers I’ve used for sex toys.

It works well for temperature play, which the LELO BOOMERANG won’t. It costs $150, but it is made to last for a lifetime, and you can buy it in different sizes as well. However, if you have a long-distance partner, crave app compatibility, or need vibration, the BOOMERANG is the easy choice.
Lovense Lapis
The Lovense Lapis is another double-ended penetrator. The Lapis has two sizes of penetration length, so one partner can enjoy 5.43” while the other enjoys 3.43”. The Lapis provides a fuller feeling for both of you to enjoy. If you have strong pelvic floor muscles, you can keep it in place and thrust easily.

It is app-compatible, and the Lovense app is more expensive than LELO’s. The Lovense Lapis costs $259.
